We were Seen as "Still Wearing Cawat"By Others Because We Have Leaders Like Masing and Band Of PRS Politicians

Masing and the group as reported in Borneo Post will submit the petition to PAS President, Haji Hadi Awang demanding his apology over his remark on the reason n by PKR lost in Batang Ai during the by-election last April. Haji Abdul Hadi as quoted by Malaysiakini on 11th July 2009 said that Most of the by-elections were won by Pakatan Rakyat except in Batang Ai. They lost in Batang-Ai because the voters there still wearing loincloth or traditional Iban man trousers or sirat (I interpreted it as with outdated mentality). This remark has been heavily politicized by PRS by Masing and his band of Iban Traitor politicians in PRS, by their short sighted and loosed interpretation, in order to gain the support of the Iban-Dayak voters. Masing even went on and dared Haji Hadi to visit the longhouses, probably to show him the conditions of the longhouses without the basic amenities. Its youth wing in Lubok Antu also planned a demonstration in Betong but has been cancelled due to problem in getting a Police Permit. I’ve covered this here but today would like repeat and urge Masing and his band of Iban Traitor politicians in PRS to STOP politicizing the matters. PRS should submit the petition to Tok Uban or PM Najib demanding for bigger issues that have been affecting the Iban-Dayak such as fight for a Chief Minister post, provide better basic amenities such as roads, electricity and clean water, better education for Iban-Dayak etc. Mupok Aku

US Suspected North Korea Used CIMB Bank For the Payment Of Weapons Sale To Myanmar

It has been reported in two South Korean English online newspaper The Korea Times Nation and the Korea Herald that a Malaysian bank will be using to transfer the purchase of weapons from North Korea by Myanmar.
According to the report by both of the newspaper, the transaction of North Korea's suspected shipment of weapons to Myanmar, currently being carried on a freighter tracked by the U.S. Navy, was planned to be paid through a bank in Malaysia and is believed to be by CIMB bank which is belong to Najb younger brother Nazir Razak. The report also mentioned that the outcome of Najib discussion between Najib and a U.S. envoy to Malaysia, which main focus was on ways to cut off the payment transaction. , Yonhap reported Saturday citing an unnamed "high-level" source. "Kim Jong-il will have a hard time collecting his money," the high-level source said, speaking strictly on condition of anonymity. The source declined to identify the bank due to diplomatic concerns.
Philip Goldberg, the U.S. coordinator for the implementation of a U.N. Security Council resolution that punishes North Korea for its May 25 nuclear test, will be also coming to discuss with Malaysian government. The visit comes after the White House said late last month that U.S. President Barack Obama discussed North Korea and financial regulations with Malaysia's Prime Minister Najib Razakon by phone. It also comes as North Korea's Kang Nam freighter is apparently returning home after being tracked by a U.S. Navy destroyer that suspects it is carrying cargo banned under the resolution. The U.N. Resolution 1874, which reinforced sanctions that were imposed after North Korea conducted its first nuclear test in 2006, bans Pyongyang from exporting any type of weapons. It also bans nations from making financial transactions with North Korea. According to another source in Seoul, the Kang Nam is believed to be carrying small Soviet-era arms such as AK-47 rifles and RPG-7 anti-tank launchers. AK-47s and RPG-7s are two of the most widely traded Soviet-era weapon types that North Korea is capable of producing on its own. The U.S. believes there are "multiple" North Korean ships used to export weapons. This is typical PM najib 1malaysia Slogan : 1Malaysia = Family first, People Last! Mupok aku

Two Al-Islam Journalists that Desecrate Sacred Host Must Be Punished

Despite several police reports were made by unhappy christian followers nationwide against the two journalists, but so far no action has been taken by the Authority???
Me too, just like the other christian followers in this country, am sad and wonder why the government agency that is responsible to take action against the two(2) culprits until now has not making any move yet.
What a double standard. Our forefather concerns when asked and gave their opinions by the Cubbold Commission 45 years go, before Sarawak joining Malaya together with Singapore and Sabah to form-up Malaysia , today their concerns have became reality.
St Luke church in Sri Aman Sarawak , was destroyed by fire almost 10 years ago but until now the church has not been rebuilt as there was no fund allocated by the government. Let's see if the small mosque or surau destroy by fire, I believe the next morning Taib Mahmud will come out with more than enough fund to rebuild the bigger mosque....What a 1Malaysia ?
Thousands of Iban embraced Islam and since then had distant themselves from their parents and other family members. The reasons because they cannot use the same crockeries and cuttleries that have been used to cook non halal foods by their parents or family members. What a 1Malaysia?
Lets look back at the two Al-Islam journalists that trespassed into Catholic church. Their stories were published by Al-Islam of May 2009, with the headlines; Mencari kesahihan remaja Melayu murtad, pages 28-30.The two journalists consumed the “Holy Communion” and spat out the sacred host. They humiliated the Catholics by having it photographed and its image published in the monthly Al-Islam. This is a violation of Christians in Malaysia and challenges the nation's Federal Constitution.
Is Malaysia a secure land where all religions can practice their religion in peace and tranquility? Will the police (PDRM) and AG’s chambers bring those Muslims to court? As guardians of just laws will they carry out their noble task and honour the Law of our nation Malaysia? This desecration speaks against the 1Malaysia project of the Prime Minister. From the very beginning of the Church, the Fathers of the Church and approved theologians have addressed the Church’s serious concern that due respect be paid to the Most Blessed Sacrament, that souls not fall into the sin of sacrilege by receiving the Body and Blood of Christ unworthily. Those Muslims who have desecrated the Sacred Host have just done that — received the Body and Blood of Christ unworthily. This is a very serious offence to our Christian Faith, and we the christians from all churches support the efforts of Sudhagaran Stanley and Joachim Francis Xavier for their courageous stand in highlighting this sacrilegious act of certain Muslims.
In my today posting , I would like to republished an open letter from Martin Jaleh which was posted in 7th Ranger on 15th July 2009.
An Open Letter to Al-Islam Journalists "Spy"
The church was not converting Muslims but instead was holding the First Holy Communion Mass (one of the rites of initiation to the faith) for 98 Catholic children, many of whom were traumatised by the sight of a threatening mob. Imagine the very unfortunate impression the young Catholics would have got of Islam and of Muslims.
The mufti who had proven to be more of a misfit, was not man enough to own up. He blamed it on an SMS sent out by a woman! Why no action was taken against the mufti, and why the authorities remained mute (on both occasions) over his “mischief” remains but a mystery. You must have been motivated by the mufti. If indeed the Catholic Church has the conversion of Muslims as its hidden agenda, it would surely have started converting hundreds or even thousands of impressionable young Muslims through its Catholic Mission schools which have existed for as long as 100 years, But no such thing has ever happened.
The Muslim classmates and friends that I had in St Michael’s Ipoh are still good and respected Muslims today, and such was their appreciation and respect for the La Salle Brothers that they made sure that their children in turn would attend a La Salle school or a Convent!SacrilegiousSadly, your disrespect knew no bounds.
You chose to abandon all human and religious decency with impunity as a journalist and a Muslim. Under pretense of being a Catholic you participated in the church service and even partook of the Holy Communion (a white and sacred wafer) strictly meant only for Catholics.
You consumed the white wafer which Catholics hold as very sacred and treat with utmost reverence, and both of you spat out the remnants, photographed it and published the picture in an article entitled "Tinjaun Al Islam Dalam Gereja:Mencari Kesahihan Remaja Murtad" which was published in the May 2009 issue of the Al Islam magazine..I shudder to think of what could happen if the reverse took place -- if for instance two reporters from the Herald were to enter a mosque disguised as Muslims, partake of the rituals and desecrate something which the congregation considers very sacred.I can imagine Khairy Jamaluddin leading a group of Umno Youth thugs and burning the effigy of the Catholic Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur and even threatening to set fire to a few churches, and Zulkifli Nordin rousing up a mob and invading the Herald’s office and demanding that it be shut down for good; or certain Muslim NGOs insisting that the two journalists be jailed under the ISA!It makes me wonder how does a “creature” like you exist in this country? Are you the product of the educational, social or even religious system or process created by Bolehland’s leaders (also read as “Umno”) over the past 30 years? How is it possible that you could blatantly trespass into a place of worship, violate its sanctity, insult its adherents, even publish your transgression and completely ignore the implications and consequences (will there be any)? What gives you such audacity? It all points to the reality of you being a cog in Umno’s machine – a political party that has politicised religion for its survival by creating unfounded insecurities amongst Muslims and a distrust of other religions. Meanwhile it dominates, dictates, decides and even defines what non-Muslims can and cannot discuss, deliberate on, and display in print.Najib’s 1Malaysia is really Malaysia in one big mess!As I join my Catholic brothers and sisters in forgiving you (a Catholic duty we are reminded of!), I also pray that you will feel the full weight of God’s wrath upon you.I feel sad for the many good Muslims in this country who have a respect for peoples of other faiths, for not only have you insulted Catholics but you have insulted them too. Islam would do well without religious misfits like you!
Martin Jalleh(15 July 2009)
I hope to hear some voices from our so called dayak leaders so as to avoid religious tension especially amongst the Christian and Muslim followers in sarawak. Masing, Jabu and Manyin should now Wake Up and stop acting as jaguh kampung.

Death of Teoh Beng Huat-The True Colour of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and UMNO Prevails

As expected, today Utusan Malaysia (an UMNO Controlled Newspaper), carried out a front page coverage of a death of a young DAP politician late Teoh Beng Hock. But the coverage was not condemning the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) a government agency that is controlled by Malay dominant party , United Malay National Organisation for their negligence that caused the death of Beng Hock.
As expected, they tried to potray that MACC was not responsible for Beng Hock death. They accused that DAP was involved. The newspaper also reported that MACC found a weblog that can help in their investigation. This was confirmed by MACC Deputy Head , Datuk Abdul Kassim Ahmad. According to Kassim they found a weblog http://www.t4tbh.blogspot.com/ that could help them in their investigation. It was believed that the weblog was written by late Beng Hock friend who was sympatized with him. And according to Utusan Malaysia, Ahmad Said Hamdan when contacted and asked about the weblog , did not want to comment as he himself had not read the contents of the weblog yet. But for me it was a “sandiwara” or a farce by UMNO. I dont want to elaborate on the contents of the weblog but I have these to comment :-
(1) The whole things were UMNO creation/tactic or Modus of Operandi (the same words used in the Blog). They used Beng Hock who could not tell the truth anymore. (2) The evidents collected from the weblog are more credible than a Statutory Declaration. Remember a Statutory Declaration made by popular blogger Raja Petra on the involvement of PM Najib and Rosmah in the Mongolian beauty Alantuya Sharibu murder case. What happened to the person who had made the declaration and the persons implicated in the declaration? (3) So much have been reported in the blogs about the corruption involve the BN politicians. One of them is Taib Mahmud, Sarawak Chief Minister and the longest serving Chief Minister in Malaysia. Why until now neither he or any members of his family were prosecuted or being called for investigation ? (4) MACC has been desperately looking for a scapegoat. In this case they made Teoh Beng Huat as their scape goat. Remember they did this in Perak.
As all known, UMNO and PM Najib will trying all out to weaken the ties and cooperations amongst the opposition. During 2008 election, the Oppsition pack used corruption practices among the Barisan Nasional politicians as their campaign subjects. It is now UMNO/barisan Nasional turn to use the same point to win the people supports. They started in Perak and with the help of Perak royalty and the court process they managed to take over Perak from Pakatan Rakyat. They also did the same thing in Penang, Kedah and Selangor but they failed. In Selangor they started with corruption case against Tan Sri Khalid- with the Cow and Car case. That why some had suggested that MACC to be named as Malaysian Anti-Car and Cow Commission. Lim Guang Eng is still very clean same goes to Kedah Chief Minister. Well, we all know now that the whole things, what happened in Selangor today is a part of UMNO/Barisan Nasional plan to take over power from Pakatan. As for me ,am predicted that these three important events will be happening soon :- (1) UMNO/Barisan will go all out to takeover Selangor (Why Selangor ? Simply because Selangor is the gateway to Malaysia and also the richest and the most developed state in Malaysia) from Pakatan Rakyat . They will employ these two government agencies ...MACC and Malaysian Royal Police to fulfill their plan. (2) Datuk Seri Anwar will be found guilty and put in prison. (3) Next, after UMNO/Barisan Nasional managed to influence the population that Pakatan Rakyat governments are corrupted, Najib will call for General Election. From Day-1, of the creation of MACC, I never have any trust in it. No matter what name they name it , as long as it's put under the politician, what to say if reporting to the Prime Minister, the agency will not going to be credible and fair. As for me, I prefer calling MACC as Malaysian Anti-Chinese Commission instead of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission. Mupok aku “Agi Idup Agi Ngelaban”

Masing and Iban-Leaders Are Reminded To Look At PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang "Cawat" Remark Positively

All Iban-Dayaks especially the politicians are reminded to treat PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang comments positively.
YB Mussen-A Novice politician and has no political agenda to helping the Iban but try to please everyone by saying nonsense.
YB Dr Rundi - Quite senior politician but has no future in PBB. Just simply said his opinion to please his boss, Jabu Numpang.
The Iban-dayak politicians from Barisan Nasional such as Masing, Mussen and Stephen Rundi as qouted by Borneo Post were upset with Hj Hadi remarks when interviewed by the reporter immediately after the Manek Urai by-election result was announced.
Hadi was reported as saying:
Haji Hadi...Said that Iban-dayak voters were still far behind in every aspect as compared to the other populations in Peninsular Malaysia that why they still chosed BN! (Intreprated by Bukit Tunggal)
“Semua pilihanraya kecil sebelum ini keputusannya memihak kepada kita. Cuma di Batang Ai sahaja kita kalah sebab mereka ini tidak reti undi, pakai cawat lagi. Saya bukan nak hina tetapi tempat yang pakai molek, undi PAS. (In all previous by-elections, the results favoured us. Only in Batang Ai we lost because they did not know how to vote, still wearing loincloths. I am not trying to insult but in those places where people dressed nicely, they voted for PAS.)”

Am taking Haji Hadi comment positively not because I am the Pakatan Rakyat supporter. When he said that the voters in Batang-Ai were still wearing loincloths he did not mean that Iban-Dayak are still wearing such traditional clothing. We must agree with him that physiological and physocialogical we were still far behind our counterparts in Peninsular Malaysia.
Masing a Self appointed PRS President, said Haji Hadi comments suggested that Batang Ai voters, the majority of whom are Dayaks, were uncivilised, adding that comments like this could stir racial tension in the country.
“Calling Dayak voters uncivilised is uncalled for. It shows just how ignorant PAS is of the situation in Batang Ai. PAS is ignorant about the fact that the people there are well-educated and civilised. “It is also a very degrading statement from a person like Hadi to make. He should go to the longhouses and see the situation for himself. It is this sort of comment that is causing racial tension in Malaysia. This is totally uncalled for,” Masing said.
Masing must stop misleading the Iban-Dayak with his wrong intrepration of the development. Let's look back at Batang Ai by-election result which was won by a novice BN's candidate Mussen Lamoh with 1,854 votes. He defeated Ex-YB Jawah Gerang a senior politician from Parti Keadilan Rakyat. Based on the survey done before the election, BN and PKR chances were 50-50. The voters who were mainly Iban-Dayak, before the election, most of of them were not happy with BN. The reasons why they were not happy with BN were beacuse of these two(2) issues ; NCR lands "robbery" and the unfulfilled promised by BN during the 2008 election.
But after they were promised with multi-million projects and a RM 500 "bribe" by BN, they they changed their mind and voted for BN.
In Manek Urai by election, the multi-million instant noodle projects disbursed and promised by BN did not made them changing their supports for Pakatan Rakyat. Even the promised by DPM(Deputy Prime Minister Malay) Mahyuddin to build the bridge costing millions of ringgit if they won the election did not make them winning the election. This was what Haji Hadi meant when he made a comment that made all PRS politician angry.
Eventhough the Manek Urai by-election was won by PAS candidate with a simple majority, but the message was clear. PM Najib and BN was not accepted there!
Talking about the development in the longhouses, I just have this question for Masing and the rest of the Iban-Dayak leaders in PRS; What sort of development were there in the longhouses that you all them wanted to show to Haji Hadi? Please do not humiliate yourselves by showing them with the longhouses that have no basic amnities and development such as the accessed road and clean water .
And the worst case scenario on condition of the longhouses without electricity when the high tension cable can be clearly seen crossing over their longhouses? How are you going to explain to Haji Hadi??
To Masing and rest of the Iban-Dayak leaders in BN, learn from JE and Joe Salang or any dayak that prefer to settle down in Peninsular, especially on how the people there looking upon us Iban-Dayak. I have few friends in Peninsular that am still in contact with. These are some of their comments and how they look at us dayak :-
  • We are still far behind them and they compared us with the Orang Asli in Peninsular Malaysia.
  • We are stupid despite being majority but have no political power
  • We are stupid especially our leaders, for following whatever Tok Uban said
  • Why are we especially our leaders keeping quiet even when our NCR lands being robbed from us.
These are the leaders that we have been rellied on to bring our people out of poverty and marginalised by Taib M ahmud and Cronies. They will be remembered by the next generation as the ones responsible for their lackings....
Well Masing, you should learn something. When someone commented that we are still not civilised, take the responsibility by doing something with action and not with just a Sweeping statement like what you, Mussen and Dr Rundi did when responded to Haji Hadi Comments.

As for all of the Iban-Dayak out there , please learn to accept the fact that we are still far behind our friends in Peninsular in every aspects. If we still want to maintain our standards at present level for another 46 years , by all means, throw your votes to BN. But if we want to be on the same par with our friends in Peninsular, Let's join Pakatan Rakyat temporarily until we have our own boat.

Najib and Mahyuddin Are Not The Elect Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Of Malaysia

Is he the PM for Malay or Malaysian PM ?
In in accordance to Article 40(2) of the Federal Constitutiuon , the choice of the Prime Minister of Malaysia is at the sole discretion of the King. But if we look back at the way how the Prime Minister is elected, one will realised that this most powerful position in Malaysia actually is selected by a few people from UMNO. UMNO will say that Malaysian Prime Minister is a member of the Dewan Rakyat who commands authority over the majority members of the House.
Najib and Mahyuddin !
I am skeptical with UMNO in this, as I strongly believed that this powerful position which leads 26 million citizens; Malay, Chinese, Indian and others (how PM is used to describe the Dayak and Kadazan or the natives of Sabah and Sarawak) is only selected by UMNO. Based on this, by logic, Najib is not the elect Prime Minister of Malaysia. He is the Prime Minister of Malay. Relevantly since DPM is appointed by PM, so he too is not our Deputy Prime Minister. He is better to be called Deputy Prime Minister of Malay. I am not racist but being the citizen of this nation, I have a right to say my opinion. Why should I recognised them as my PM and DPM when I was not given an opportunity to select or to vote the PM or DPM of my choice? If our constituition allows us to elect directly our Prime Minister or Deputy Prime Minister, I dont think that they both will win the vote. Najib became a Prime Minister with so much doubts and scandals with him to name a few :-
  • Alantuya murder Case. His alleged link to the Altantuya Shaariibuu murder. The story has became the international story with the major newspaper like The UK's Sunday Times, The International Herald Tribune, the French daily Libération, The Australian Financial Review, The Far Eastern Economic Review and the New York Times have all published stories.
Graft. RM400 million in commissions reportedly paid by the Defence Ministry while he was the minister for the procurement of submarines, and pointed out that Abdul Razak Baginda, the DPM's friend was an agent in the deal.
  • Anti Chinese. In 1987 when he was the UMNO youth head, during one of the rally held in In a widely documented speech he vowed to bathe the keris with Chinese blood. In this point, he is not fit to lead a multi racial Malaysia.

As for Mahyuddin, he just doesn't have criterias to become a good leader what to say a Deputy Prime Minister of a country.

As for the Dayak, the Malays have their PM(Prime Minister Malay) and DPM (Deputy Prime Minister Malay), lets form-up Dayak Borneo Association and combine with our brothers in Kalimantan Indonesia ! Mupok aku

Malaysian Muslim Is Involved in Series Of Bombing in Jakarta Indonesian - Has the Malaysian Government Done Enough To Defeat The Terrorist ?

A report from Jakarta indicated that one of the suspect involved in a series of bombing and killed few people in Indonesia was a Malaysian, NORDIN MAT TOP. I just cannot imagine if the same scenerio happen here in Malaysia and the foreign citizen involved, supposely to be an Indonesian. Additionally if the Malaysian government didn't do enough to track and capture the culprit. Hasn't his family members are staying in Malaysia? Please see the damages and the casualties caused by the bombing which the Malaysian Muslim was involved.. Please continue with reading the article on Malaysian Muslim involvement with Jakarta bombing as reported from Jakarta.

See all the damages that were caused by our fellow citizen. How long are we going to allow him to kill the other human being...Has the Malaysian Government done enough to capture him?
Malaysian Fugitive terrorist a suspect in Indonesia bombings

JAKARTA, Indonesia - The mangled faces of two suspected suicide attackers may be the main clue linking the bombings of two luxury American hotels in the Indonesian capital with a notorious al-Qaida-linked militant network that has struck many times before. Investigators worked with medical teams Saturday to reconstruct the remains of the culprits believed to have set off explosions that tore through the restaurants of the J.W. Marriott and Ritz-Carlton at breakfast time the day before. Seven were killed, plus the two suspected attackers, and 50 wounded, many of them foreigners. The method, target and type of bombs used in Friday's attacks immediately raised suspicions of involvement by the Jemaah Islamiyah terror group and Noordin M. Top, the fugitive Malaysian national who heads a particularly violent offshoot of the network. While National Police spokesman Maj. Gen. Nanan Soekarna said they "cannot say for sure whether Noordin M. Top led this bombing," others were more certain. "I'm 200 percent sure this was his work," said Nasir Abbas, a former Jemaah Islamiyah leader turned police informant who has worked with police on investigations into Indonesia's last three terrorist attacks. A police investigator told The Associated Press on Saturday that Noordin was the most likely suspect. "Considering the target, the location and content of the bombs, it was clearly the work of Noordin," the investigator said, declining to give his name because he wasn't authorized to speak to the media. The investigator said a hotel receptionist told police that one of the suspected bombers who checked into the hotel days before gave his name as "Nurdin." He gave a $1,000 cash deposit because he had no credit card, he said. Noordin, an engineer and alleged bomb-maker, is accused of masterminding four major strikes in Indonesia with the help of al-Qaida that killed more than 240 people, including the 2002 and 2005 Bali bombings, a strike on the J.W. Marriott in 2003, and a huge blast at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta in 2004 when a ton of explosives was hidden in a delivery van. Police said they were also following leads in the Cilacap region of Central Java, where explosives were reportedly found buried in a garden last week at the house of Noordin's father-in-law, who is also at large. "We can't say for certain which network is involved in this bombing," Soekarna said. "There are similarities with the bombs found in Cilacap and Bali." Sidney Jones, a Southeast Asian terrorism analyst for the International Crisis Group, believes it "is clear that there is a direct link with Noordin through (his father-in-law), and clearly Noordin was staying in Cilacap at that time." "I think Noordin will remain a threat until he is captured," she told Indonesian television channel MetroTV. Investigators have been examining body parts and other forensic evidence from Friday's attacks in an attempt to identify the two suspected bombers, one of whom is believed to be Indonesian. Their bodies were badly damaged in the explosions - they were decapitated by the force - and confirming their identity could help determine if they knew Noordin. Authorities say the bombers posed as guests before setting off the pair of blasts. They say the attackers evaded hotel security, smuggling explosives into the Marriott two days ahead of time and apparently assembled the bombs on the 18th floor, where an undetonated device was found after the explosions. Police on Saturday confirmed the death of a third Australian - bringing the number of confirmed foreign fatalities to at least four - and said their earlier toll of nine had included the two bombers. The attack occurred as the Marriott was hosting a regular meeting of top foreign executives of major companies in Indonesia organized by the consultancy firm CastleAsia, said the group, which is headed by an American. Officials have identified five of the dead - the three from Australia, one from New Zealand and one from Indonesia. The Health Ministry initially reported the death of a Singaporean, but police said they were unable to confirm that. Australian Foreign Minister Stephen Smith said Saturday after meeting with his Indonesian counterpart that the dead included Trade Commission officer Craig Senger. "The hearts of our nation go out to those families," he said. Officials said 16 foreigners were among the wounded, including eight Americans and citizens of Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, South Korea and Britain. The blasts at the high-rise hotels, located side-by-side in an upscale business district in Jakarta, blew out windows and scattered debris and glass across the street, clouding the structures in thick smoke. Security videos captured the moment of the explosion in the Marriott. The brief, grainy images show a man wearing a cap and pulling a bag on wheels walking across the lobby toward the restaurant, followed by a flash and smoke filling the air.

The Joke Of the Century When Taib Mahmud Talk about Graft Amongst Civil Servant

Inefficiency breeds graft
Speech by Taib Mahmud-The Most Corrupted Sarawak Chief Minister
(Is he qualified to talk about graft when he himself is one of the most corrupted politician in Malaysia ?)

The Most corrupt Sick Man in Malaysia

In his speech read by the Housing Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg at the closing of the 2009 Sarawak Anti-Corruption Carnival at Padang Merdeka 0n 12th Jul 2009, Taib Mahmud said inefficiency was one of the key factors that caused corruption and abuse of power. He said the attitude of delaying, taking one’s own sweet time and being careless presents an opportunity to dishonest civil servants to commit graft. I totally disagree with this statement. I strongly believe that most if not all the law enforcement professional out there tend to agree with me, that the main factor for civil servant to commiting graft or corruption is because of the power and opportunity vested to them . For example, the police and the enforcement officers. Other example that can be clearly seen (inclusive the Coffee Shop Operators) is Taib himself. Taib Mahmud is known by almost everyone to be the most corrupted politician in Malaysia (probably the world). He was raised from a poor family and his father was a fishermen. But now, all of his family members have became amongst the richest people in Sarawak. Even his daughter can afford to buy the most expensive house in Ottawa.

With so many evidents and much talks about Tok Uban Corrupted Practices, Until now MCC have not sprang into action.

Despite the news being widely talked amongst the people of Sarawak (inclusive some parts of peninsular Malaysia) but so far no action has been taken by MCC. Why double standard ? In Selangor or Penang just from romours had caused few Pakatan State Assembly members being investigated by thye MCC.

Why it is so difficult for the MCC to open the file on Taib ? What worry me so much is that, someone in the the MCC had been given with big monies by Tok Uban.....

Alleged Corruption Against Taib Mahmud

Accusations of deep corruption and nepotism have surrounded Taib on several occasions and the dominance of Sarawak's political elite including Taib's family in the logging industry is well documented. In 2007, it was reported that nine Japanese shipping companies, which transported timber from Sarawak, had allegedly failed to report some 1.1 billion yen in income over a period of up to seven years. The report claimed the money was paid as kickbacks to Sarawak officials via a Hong Kong agent linked to Taib's family.

Please see the Letter From Japanese NGO joint letter to PM Badawi & ACA

April 27th 2007

Dato' Seri Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad BadawiPrime Minister of Malaysia CC: Director, Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA)

Subject: Corruption allegations against Sarawak CM Taib Mahmud and freedom of speech in Malaysia

Your Excellency,

We, the undersigned Japanese non-governmental organizations and citizen's groups, wish to express our profound concern regarding threats by the Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Pehin Taib Mahmud to lodge a defamation suit against the Malaysiakini news service and leaders of Party Keadilan Rakyat Sarawak for raising allegations of his involvement in a RM 32 million kickback scheme reported by the Japan Times and other Japanese newspapers.

We understand that the corruption allegations raised against CM Taib Mahmud originated from a report in the Japan Times on Mar 29,, 2007 that nine Japanese shipping companies which transport lumber from Sarawak failed to report some 1.1 billion yen (approximately RM 32 million) in income paid as remuneration to Regent Star, a Hong Kong-based agent with connections to CM Taib Mahmud and his family, during a period of seven years through last March. According to the report, the Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau determined that these payments were rebates, not legitimate expenses, and is likely to impose well over 400 million in back taxes and penalties against the shipping companies.

The Yomiuri Shimbun (in Japanese) also reported the above facts in an article on March 28th. Furthermore, the Asahi Shimbun English edition reported on March 28th that the Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau had ordered Kansai Line Co. to pay 50 million yen in back taxes and penalties for falsely including so-called intermediation fees totaling 130 million yen paid to Regent Star over a seven year period until December 2005, in its cost of loading logs in ports in Sarawak, in an effort to hide the payments.

The Asahi Shimbun Japanese edition further reported on March 27th that shipping companies affiliated with the Nanyozai Freight Agreement (NFA) cartel are suspected to have paid more than US $25 million (approx. 2.5 billion yen) in intermediation fees to Regent Star in the ten years up to 2005. An anonymous industry source is quoted as admitting that "there was an understanding that these were payments to the Chief Minister's family" and in essence, kickbacks.

According to the article, the NFA admitted that it had in 1981 entered into an agreement with Dewaniaga Sarawak (DNS) on log exports to Japan, and had been instructed by DNS to pay intermediation fees to Regent Star in Hong Kong. The payments, which are said to have continued for 26 years since 1981, are said to have started at a rate of approximately US $1.50 per cubic meter of logs shipped, and to have increased over the years to the current rate of US $3.28, while the log shipments declined from a peak of 3.8 million m3 in 1990 to about 410,000 m3 in 2005. The report estimates that an average of one to four million dollars per year, totaling US $25,250,000 was paid to Regent Star between 1996 and 2005 alone. The article also mentions that an industry source alleged that DNS director Dato' Onn Bin Mahmud, brother of CM Taib Mahmud, sometimes participated in person in negotiations of the intermediation fees between Regent Star and the NFA.

From the above, it should be crystal clear that the allegations lodged against CM Taib Mahmud by Malaysiakini and Party Keadilan Rakyat Sarawak are not based on rumor or hearsay, but on information reported in a consistent manner by several leading Japanese newspapers. As organizations working in the Malaysian public interest, Malaysiakini and Party Keadilan have merely been exercising their freedom of expression and fulfilling their duty to raise concerns to the public and competent authorities regarding highly disturbing information meriting further investigation. In fact, it would have been dereliction of their public duty not to have done so. If whistleblowers immediately face threats of litigation for defamation, how can citizens play an active role in eliminating corruption? Should not CM Taib Mahmud present a clear explanation rather than resort to such intimidation? And if he disagrees with the allegations in the reports, should he not question their sources in Japan and the Japanese tax authorities, rather than Malaysian citizens who are merely bringing them to the public attention?

In light of your pledge to make anti-corruption a top policy priority with "zero tolerance for corruption," we urge you to live up to your reputation by instructing the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) directly under your supervision to immediately commence a formal investigation into the allegations raised in these media reports, and to keep the public informed of developments thereof. Party Keadilan Rakyat Sarawak has already lodged two reports on this matter as of April 13th 2007, one with the Kuching Central Police Station and another with the Anti-Corruption Agency in Kuching, following your public statement advising that reports be lodged so that the ACA could take action. Japanese civil society will do its most to urge the Japanese tax authorities to cooperate with Malaysia in its investigation, so that the truth can be revealed and justice served.

Furthermore, we ask you to ensure that Malaysian citizens do not face undue pressure or malicious litigation in an attempt to suppress their freedom of speech when raising issues in the public interest. Certainly such transparency is crucial in upholding the honor and untarnished reputation of Malaysia in the international community.

Sincerely,

Sarawak Campaign Committee (SCC)Friends of the Earth Japan (FOEJ)Japan Tropical Forest Action Network (JATAN)The Japan Citizens' Coalition for the UN International Decade of theWorld's Indigenous Peoples (INDEC)Japan Network on Human Rights in MalaysiaPacific Asia Resource Center (PARC)Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands Forest Protection Group in JapanY. Sakamoto, Global Environment Forum

The results of the logging industry under Taib is that less than 10% of Sarawak's primary forests remain, logging many of the ancestral lands of many of Sarawak's indigenous communities, despite their continued petitions and road blockades, where forceful dismantling has led to several deaths and regular violent coercion by the Malaysian army, police and logging industry enforcers.

In the 2008 general election, Taib's son Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Taib won a seat in the Malaysian parliament and became Deputy Tourism Minister in the new cabinet.Prior to this, he did not have any political experience. Taib's sister Roziah is one of the most powerful businesswoman in Sarawak with extensive holdings in property and timber business.

Taib's brother-in-law, Aziz Hussain, was appointed state secretary by Mahmud and when he retired, Mahmud appointed him executive director of Sarawak Energy and other companies

Or MCC will only going take action after Tok Uban no longer in power, just like what happened in Penang and Selangor !

BN Real Politic Of Development ?

Brunei to get 400MW of our electricity

The state is expected to supply 400 megawatts (MW) of electricity to Brunei next year.

According to Awang Tengah, the memorandum of understanding (MoU) had been signed with Brunei sultanate last May. He Said the supply would be delivered in two stages. (1) First stage. The supply of 200MW from Bakun Hydroelectric Dam after its commissioning next year

(2) Second Stage . Another 200MW , the supply will come from Limbang Hydroelectric Dam.

This was what Taib Mahmud meant by the Politic of development....Developing others first...The Rakyat last.Despites the facts that 85% of the longhouses throughout the state are living without basic amnities and electricity but BN government still can afford to sell it electricity to it neighbouring countries, Kalimantan Indonesia and Brunei.

I still fail to understand until now, why the Dayak of sarawak, despite what BN has done to us, we still throw our support to them.

Please follow my Countdown for Dayak Victory!

Another NCR Land Robbery By PELITA

Sime Derby Plantation Sdn. Bhd. is allocating RM 100million to develop the NCR lands in Julau.

With this new JV, more Ibans are going to lose their NCR Lands. Eventually their income from the rubber trees planted in the NCR lands will be shrunk. The assumption is made based on the blogger experience with the JV in Sg Tenggang.

Based on BERNAMA report published by Borneo Post , about 20 hectares of NCR land will be involved in the JV. Please read the article below on the proposed JV between Sime Derby Plantation Sdn. Bhd and the NCR Land owners from Julau. Borneo Post, Friday 10th July 2009. RM100m for NCR land Development. Sime Darby set to work on 20,000ha Julau land in oil palm joint venture deal Sime Darby Plantation Sdn Bhd is set to invest an initial RM100 million to develop oil palm plantations on Native Customary Rights (NCR) lands in Julau, about 55 kilometres from here. Its Plantation Agency and Consultation head Mohd Helmy Othman Basha said the project would cover an area of about 20,000 hectares.

“This is our first project in Sarawak and incidentally on the state’s Native Customary Rights land. “The project will be in a joint venture with landowners from 109 longhouses in three areas namely KJD/Lower Julau, Sungai Julau/Sungai Pitoh and Merurun/Meluan/Entabai,” he told reporters yesterday.

Representing the landowners at the joint venture agreement signing ceremony at a community hall here was the Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA). Present was Land Development Minister Dato Sri Dr James Jemut Masing. Helmy said the preparatory work would begin after Sime Darby had done and submitted the Social and Environmental Impact Assessment report to the authority concerned.
“We expect to begin in a month’s time after this. However, we are very pleased that so far there have been very positive responses from the landowners concerned.
“But we will continue to explain the joint venture concept further and to more others. Let the people have very clear understanding for them to appreciate and accept, and for us to proceed smoothly,” he said.
In the joint venture, Sime Darby will hold 60 per cent equity while the landowners 30 per cent and LCDA 10 per cent. Helmy said the target was for Sime Darby to develop around 50,000 hectares in Sarawak and another 50,000 hectares in Sabah. In a speech earlier, Masing told people in the area not to doubt Sime Darby’s ability.
“We are looking at a very well established and leading multinational conglomerate which has about 100 years’ experience in developing not only oil palm but also rubber plantations in Sabah and the peninsula.
“Sime Darby too has more than 560,000 hectares under oil palm plantations in the country and in Indonesia,” he said. I am very optimistic of the success of this joint venture provided the land-owners concerned give their fullest cooperation to Sime Darby and LCDA which is looking after their rights and interests,” he added.

Masing said a representative chosen from among the landowners would be appointed to sit on the joint venture’s board of management to keep them informed on any latest developments. He said the landowners would stand to gain as through the plantation they could find jobs and business opportunities and receive dividends and bonuses when the crop is harvested.

“Best of all, each individual landowner will know the exact size and location of his or her land which will be officially recognised,” he said Mupok Aku

Conspiracy By Najib and BN to End Anwar Political Career-Supporters Will Go to the Street on Wednesday, 15 Jul 2009

DSAI Supporters believe that court case against him is part of PM Najib Agenda to end his career. MALAYSIA'S opposition said it will mount a rally of thousands of black-clad supporters on Wednesday outside the court where leader Anwar Ibrahim is to go on trial for sodomy. Shamsul Iskandar Mohammad Akin, youth chief of Mr Anwar's Keadilan party, said he was aiming to gather 5,000 supporters for a march to the court complex, despite warnings from the government against creating a disturbance. 'We want to have a gathering to show our support for Anwar and to tell the world that these allegations made against him are false and baseless,' he told AFP on Tuesday. 'The government is attacking him because they do not want to see his reform agenda for Malaysia to succeed,' he said. Mr Anwar, a former deputy premier who was sacked and jailed on separate sodomy and corruption charges a decade ago, has rejected the new allegations made by a former aide as a conspiracy to derail his plan to topple the government. In 2004 the earlier sodomy conviction was overturned, allowing Mr Anwar to go free after six years in jail and build an opposition alliance which won a third of parliamentary seats last year in an unprecedented performance. 'Many of the people who were responsible for what happened to Anwar in 1998 are still in power and are involved in this case and are carrying out their vendetta against him,' Mr Shamsul said. Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein has reportedly warned protesters not to create a disturbance at the Kuala Lumpur court complex where the trial will open on Wednesday. 'If they create chaos and go against the law (to) disrupt security and the judiciary, the authorities will certainly react,' he said according to news website Malaysiakini. Police were tight-lipped on the number of personnel to be deployed at the court, and whether they would draft in the riot police and water cannon which have been deployed at other politically sensitive trials. 'As long as things are peaceful, there should be no issue,' deputy national police chief Ismail Omar told AFP. 'We are prepared for the situation,' he said, declining to elaborate on the size of the police presence. However, other officials said police would begin deploying around the building before dawn on Wednesday, and that roadblocks would be set up around the complex. -- AFP

Iban Dayak NCR Lands Robbed By PELITA and Malay

Monday, 6th July 2009, I went to Land Custody Development Authority or abbreviated as PELITA, to accompany one of my relative to collect his Cash Incentive for his NCR Land that has been developed under JV with Tetangga Akrab Pelita Pantu Sdn. Bhd.
(Most of the NCR Lands that involve in this JV were planted with rubber plantation ....The JV cost NCR Land owners of losing few thousands RM )
The divident was part of the RM 150 per acre per year payment to all the participants as mentioned in the Agreement in which according to him had never been shown to them. The office was located on 8th floor of Satok Building. When I reached at the office, I was surprised to see despite the majority of the NCR land owners being developed by PELITA are Iban dayak, but I only saw few Iban Dayak faces inside. Majority were Malays.
( Majority of the owners of the NCR Lands being developed by PELITA are Iban dayak, but only few are employed by them...Where is 1Malaysia) Based on this observation, I concluded that 1Malaysia is not applicale here, in PELITA ? How can our NCR lands be managed properly and the NCR land owner be fairly paid if they are not managed by Iban dayak themselves? Jabu and Masing, Say something Please! Mupok aku

Willful Stupidity By Manyin Jawong and Jemut Masing

Since the absence of Jabu Numpang or nickname Tok Uban Ballcarrier from dayak politic, few dayak leaders have been trying their lucks to replace him. They tried so many efforts in order to impress Tok Uban. Amongst the dayak leaders that have been trying to fill-up the vacum are Entulu Belaun, Manyin Jawong and Jemut Masing. (Joseph) Entulu Belaun (JE) was eliminated from the race last month after his controversy suggestion to drop the word dayak, which he made about one week before Gawai Dayak this year, had enraged most of the dayaks in Sarawak. With JE exclusion from the race, the competition for the Ballcarrier Post became a head to head fight between Manyin and Jemut.
Both sides try to impress tok Uban with their actions and remarks. In the process, they make the blunder sometimes. The most recent blunders by Manyin and Jemut Masing were :-
Manyin Jawong.
Manyin Jawong made his first blunder when he remind the 60 participants who present at a ‘Bicara Gemilang’ dialogue held at Ranchan Recreational Retreat in Serian on Wednesday, 1st July 2009. In his speech Manyin reminded those present not to change current Barisan Nasional government as it could cost Sarawakians their basic rights.
He felt disturbed by some Sarawakians who called for change of government and leadership using peninsula-based Pakatan Rakyat as their political platform.
“This is dangerous because it could result in Sarawak losing its rights as contained in the 20-point agreement when it helped to form Malaysia in 1963".

This stupid minister blatantly bluffed or try to mislead the participants with this Peninsular based party sentiment without telling them the truth that Barisan Nasional is also a Peninsular malaysia based party. Another blunder that he made was on the 20-Point Agreements. Just wonder whether he read the 20 Point Agreements before. But the way how the speech was delivered, in my opinion he has not read it yet.Because if he did, he should be able to differentiate between the 20 Point Agreement and the 18 Points Agreement. Check your facts Manyin !! Manyin should not talk about the 20 Points Agreement not because he did not fully understand its contents alone, but the points could anger his boss in Peninsular Malayss. Manyin must remember that he and the Bidayuh communities are owing PM Najib and Barisan Nasional RM 1 Million, the amount that was pledged by Najib during his Official visit to Sarawak recently.Further blunder by Manyin could cost him and the Bidayuh communities this RM 1 Million. On the 20 the Points Agreement, such as in matters related to immigration, labour and land ownership, he said Sarawakians must recognise the fact that even after 46 years of independence they had yet to have the ability and capacity to compete without the safeguard provided by the 20-point agreement. On the said matters, who are to be blamed, is it the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) or the Barisan Nasional (BN)? Dont tell us that after 46 years under BN we still could not compete with all the big firms from Peninsular. Dont tell us that we have to wait for another 46 years? Therefore the best approach for us(Sarawak) now is CHANGE! Change the BN Government NOW or NEVER.

JEMUT MASING Another Dayak leader that also trying his luck to replace Jabu as Tok Uban Ballcarrier and representing the Dayak Communities is Jemut Masing (JM). JM , since the deregistration of the PBDS, he has been seen as a traitor by most of the Dayaks. For me, JM nowadays is totally different from the person that I saw in the 80's. He is totally different from JM that I knew before...JM is dead. The recent blunder that JM made to mislead the Iban Dayak was on Wednesday, 1st july 2009. During his visit to Anchi longhouse in Kapit he urged the people of Rumah Anchi to appreciate the Government Assistance rendered to them by supporting the government during the election. This is a true blunder by Masing. He mislead the longhouse people by saying that the Assistance was from the Barisan Nasional ( Perintah in Iban). Was it really from BN ? What he did not explain to the people was on the source of the money. Typical Iban leaders from BN who would bluffed the longhouse people in order to get their votes, Masing also did the same thing. He bluffed the people by telling them that the Assistance came from BN and not from the tax payer monies, thetrefore they must Vote for BN....!This is how BN bluffed and brainstorm the rural people in order to win their votes. But Masing, you must remember that we are out here...We saw and we heard you, and we will tell our people in the long house about you blunder.... Mupok aku
