Construction Of Batang Strap Bridge - Between Reality and A Political Gimmick For Closing Ceremony of Pesta Tapah?

Snowdan during the Closing of Pesta Tapah Pantu.
Where are YB Mong and James Jemut Masing ?

Pantu, Sri Aman, 26th April 2009

YB Snowdan Lawan announced that a bridge crossing batang Strap will be built within this year. According to Snowdan, the allocation for the bridge totaling RM 19 million has been approved. The tender for the project should be opened in middle of this year and the bridge is expected to be completed by next year.

These tapahs, are they from here or elsewhere ?

Pesta Tapah panrtu had been held from 24th April 2009 and ended on 26th April 2009. According to Snowdan, the objective of Pesta Tapah pantu is to attract tourists to this small/cowboy town thus help to provide another avenue of income for the residents of Pantu and it surrounding. The opening ceremony was officiated by Francis Harden whereas Closing by Snowdan himself. PRS President James Jemut Masing and YB Mong the PRS Youth Chief were not seen during the opening and closing ceremony of Pesta Tapah. Some PRS supporters met during the Opening and Closing ceremonies informed that there was a rift between JJM + Mong & Donald Lawan/Jabu .

Where are Masing and Mong ?

With the implementation of SCORE in Nothern part of sarawak , whereby most of the development funds been channeled to Mukah, making it impossible for SNOWDAN to start construct the bridge within this year.
Probably the annauncement made by YB Snowdan during his closing speech was just a gimmick and  meant to make the Closing ceremony more merrier. To the people of Pantu or those who are going to benefit from the bridge dont hope too much , the annauncement could be just an empty promised by BN. But if the construction still proceed to YB SNOWDAN, I SALUTE YOU.....but if the promised is empty, to YB Snowdan and the rest of BN YB, I only have this to say to all of you...
" Stop Acting like an empty can"........

Puan Sri Laila Taib Passes Away..Condolence to Taib & all the Family Members

KUCHING: Puan Sri Laila Taib, wife of Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud, succumbed to cancer at their residence in Demak Jaya here Wednesday. She died at 3.45pm.
Laila, 68, is survived by her husband, four children including Deputy Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Abdul Rahman, and 15 grandchildren. Taib’s press secretary Amin Sahmat said the burial would be held at the Demak Muslim cemetery Thursday morning.
Among the first dignitaries to pay their last respects at Demak Jaya on Wednesday were Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who is currently on a two-day official visit to Sarawak, and his wife Puan Sri Norainee Abdul Rahman. The Polish-born Laila and Taib, then pursuing his law degree, were married in Adelaide, Australia on Jan 13, 1959. Three years later, she arrived in Sarawak. Her maiden name was Lejla Chaleck.
In paying tribute to Laila during their 50th wedding anniversary celebration here last January 13, Taib had said she was his pillar of strength and source of inspiration. “I must acknowledge that it is not easy for any woman to be a politician’s wife. Laila has played a major part in making my life very bearable,” he said.
A local writer, Christina Mamora, who was commissioned to write Laila’s yet-to-be published biography, A Story of Love and Compassion, described her as “kind and caring towards others.” “Having spent many long hours interviewing her (Laila) over the past year or so, I was very sad to think how nice and supportive she has been to me, especially in documenting stories about women, when I heard that she was sick,“ she told Bernama here.
In recognition of her active involvement in social work, including as Sarawak Badan Amal Dan Tenaga president, she was awarded the Darjah Utama Yang Amat Mulia Bintang Kenyalang, which carries the title “Datuk Amar” in 1988.She was also the Pertubuhan Kebajikan Islam Malaysia vice-president (women’s committee chairman) while the setting up of the Laila Taib Cancer Charitable Trust was one of the many testimonials of her keen interest to help needy patients and see that research activities could be carried out for the people’s benefit. -- Bernama

Religious Crisis In Malaysia - Convert seeks Hindu wife's sons

PUTRAJAYA (Malaysia) - A MALAYSIAN convert to Islam urged his estranged Hindu wife who fled abroad with their sons to return on Tuesday amid government efforts to end legal spats over religious conversions of children.

The case is one of the most dramatic in a string of disputes in which people who embraced Islam also changed their young children's religion despite protests from their non-Muslim spouses.

Malaysia's Cabinet announced last week that minors should no longer be converted without both parents' consent. The decision represents a bid to resolve disputes that have strained race relations in this Muslim-majority nation, but it cannot be legally enforced until amendments are made to the existing law.

In the first related court hearing since the Cabinet's decision, lawyers for Jeyaganesh Mogarajah and his estranged wife, Shamala Sathiyaseelan, submitted arguments in an appeals court on Tuesday in a nearly seven-year-old dispute over Jeyaganesh's conversion of their two sons to Islam.

Jeyaganesh married Shamala in 1998 according to Hindu rites. He embraced Islam in November 2002 and converted their two sons, then aged 2 and 4, without his wife's knowledge or consent. Shamala, 37, left for Australia with her sons in 2004 for fear that Islamic authorities might take them away from her because she wanted them raised Hindu. Her lawyers say she has since gone to another country and would only return if she wins a court battle to declare the conversion invalid.

On Thursday, Jeyaganesh, a 40-year-old anesthetist, said he was willing to compromise with his wife and let the children learn both Muslim and Hindu teachings if they return. 'I've not seen my kids for five years,' Jeyaganesh told reporters at the court. 'There's been zero contact. It's a total blank. I'd like to see how they are.'

The case has become a symbol of mounting complaints of religious discrimination by non-Muslims. In recent years, several non-Muslim parents have failed to prevent estranged spouses from converting their children to Islam. Most of these cases end up in Islamic courts, which typically rule in favor of Muslims.

Shamala's lawyer, Ravi Nekoo, said his client won't return for fear that she would lose her sons.

'Her world has been torn apart. She's struggling to make ends meet in a foreign territory,' Mr Ravi said. 'She only wanted a quiet life, she never wanted all this publicity.'

A court gave Jeyaganesh and Shamala shared legal custody of the children in 2004, but ruled that Shamala would lose custody if there were 'reasonable grounds' to believe that she would influence the children's religious beliefs, such as by making them eat pork or teaching them Hindu tenets. -- AP

Najib Promises Reform ?

KUALA LUMPUR - PRIME Minister Najib Razak has named veteran politicians to help him regain voter support, but analysts on Sunday expressed doubts that the old guard can provide new direction for Malaysia's embattled ruling party.

Mr Najib, who took over the premiership early this month, appointed several highprofile but old-time politicians Friday to help lead the United Malays National Organisation. Analysts said the appointees - including former International Trade Minister Rafidah Aziz and Information Minister Rais Yatim - were unlikely to give the ruling National Front coalition the boost it is looking for.

The coalition, dominated by Mr Najib's Umno party, is still reeling from poor election results last year, the worst in the five decades it has been in power. 'It's not impressive. ... It's still the same old people at a time when you promise a reform agenda,' said Mohammad Agus Yusoff, a political science lecturer at the National University of Malaysia. 'It's as if you lack credible, high-caliber leaders. ...Definitely (the new appointees) were once Umno leaders, but their time has gone,' he said.

Mr Najib has taken pains in his first month in office to emphasise that he plans wideranging changes to win back support. Earlier this week, he announced the liberalisation of several service sectors to make the country more economically competitive. As part of the liberalisation he has taken the first step to dismantle an affirmative action program that gives majority Malays privileges in state contracts, jobs, housing and education. The program has been a major thorn in the side for the minority ethnic Chinese and Indians.

He has also said he would ensure racial equality in this multiethnic nation, where Muslim Malays make up 60 per cent of the population and control the government. Ethnic Chinese and Indians, who together account for a third of the 28 million people, complain they face economic, religious and social discrimination.

But political analyst Khoo Kay Peng said Mr Najib's first month in office had been marked by promises and announcements with no real changes. 'There is totally no reform,' Mr Khoo said. 'His leadership doesn't have a clear direction. If you want a new direction, you can't have people from the old school. ...

There is a serious problem in (the party's) pool of leadership.' Mohammad Agus also said several of the political appointees had 'problems in terms of image' because they faced allegations of corruption. -- AP

Lubok Antu By-Election Result as An Endorsement For BN To Robbing Dayak NCR Land -Jabu Numpang

Niah, Miri, 23 April 2009.

Jabu when officiating at Leader Meet People Cum the Presentation of dividents to NCR JV Oil Palm Project participants at Rumah Belilie Ulu Niah said the result of the Lubok Antu By Election showed that the rural people *(Dayak ) are supporting the government New Concept of NCR Land Development for uplifting their living standard.

This minister sound stupid. He is willing to do and say anything to the extend of betraying his own people as long as such action will please his Boss. His speech above, even the kindergarthen students know that he bluffed. How can the JV project with 60:30:10 , land leased for duration of 60 years, no guarantee of land title given to the NCR landowners and so on can pleased the rakyat. BN won Batang Ai election was not because the natives happy with the NCR new concept of development. There were few factors why PKR lost the election. I dont have to eloborate here , as in my previous posting I touched on the "raison d'ĂȘtre " why PKR Lost in Batang Ai

In the function, Jabu also mentioned about SALCRA successed in uplifting the standard of living of it participants. But he forgot to mention that SALCRA project and Gaya Baru (New Style) NCR Project Development are totally two differents concept, be it in term of ownership and the land leased duration. As for SALCRA , the land owners will be getting their NCR land title after 25 years, and the best thing , they are participants. I salute Jabu for SALCRA successed. But he beed to explain this, after more than 30 years of it inception, how many SALCRA participants had became a millionaire or if not millionaire , how many have an income of RM 2500 monthly . Please exclude Senator Em****g from your list as many people know that she has been recieving quite substantial amount of divident from the lands that she bought from SALCRA participants.

M'sia sets conversion rule - Religious Conversion Must Get Both Parents Consent

KUALA LUMPUR - MALAYSIA has banned the religious conversion of children without both parents' consent, news reports said on Thursday, in a major step to ease interfaith conflicts that have strained race relations in this Muslim-majority country.
The announcement by new Prime Minister Najib Razak's administration follows a string of high-profile legal spats in which people who embraced Islam also changed their young children's religion despite protests from their estranged non-Muslim spouses.
The disputes have sparked complaints of discrimination by non-Muslims because Islamic Shariah courts typically rule in favor of Muslims, while secular courts that preside over family matters for non-Muslims say they have no jurisdiction over such cases. Read more here.

Some Land Devt Info Not Divulged-Tengah (Deception Plan By Awang Tengah and Cronies)

Bintulu, 20th April 2009. Awang Tengah when officiating at a two day State Level Land Seminar in Bintulu said that the goverment cannot simply annaunce every detail pertaining to the development of certain areas was because to stop speculations by certain quarters. Comment By Bukit Tunggal (Actual Reason). So that the land owners caught with their pants down thus easier for Awang Tengah and goverment agents like Land Survey and RELA to evict and demolish their houses easily, just like what they did to Rumah Nyawin,..etc.
He further added that the government could not avoid making changes to the state's land implementation and administration policy as it should be in accordance with the prevailing social and economic situation. Comment By Bukit Tunggal. Justification for government action to rob natives of their NCR lands. After this few more natives will be evicted from their longhouses.See what happen to the landless natives in Niah as reported by Dayaknation. In his speech Awang Tengah also said that the opposition failed to use the land issues during the recent by-lection in batang-Ai when they failed to win batang Ai. Comments By Bukit Tunggal. Even though PKR Lost the election in batang Ai but it did not mean that the natives support government land policies. There were so many factors that influenced the just concluded by-election. Some of the reasons that had been identified were corruption, abused of power, Tampering with14 boxes etc.... Among the dayak representatives that attended the seminars were James Masing, Wilson baya Dandot and Micheal Manyin. Comments By Bukit Tunggal. Those are the faces of the Dayak Traitors.Remember their faces..they are no longer belong to the dayak community... To all the dayak, be prepared for the next Wave of land develiopment by Awang Tengah and his cronies. Be prepared to be evicted from your longhouses and become landless on your MOTHERLAND. Until then..Mupok aku.

Masind Admits that Dayak are Stupid

Sri Aman, 17 April 2009. When speaking at an Easter dinner organized by PRS Bukit Bangunan division, Masing admitted that Dayak still lack the element of smartness. The antonym of smart is stupid. So in another word James Masing admitted that we , the DAYAK are stupid. I repeat James Masing said dayak are STUPID.

In his speech he said “Politic within the community (Dayak) , particularly the rural areas, is fluid until now because there is lack of smart factor (translated Stupid). And because of that they will listen to instigation and get manipulated by certain individuals”.

100% Agree. This has been proven so many times. Lubok Antu for example, majority of the dayak there realized that they had been cheated by Barisan Nasional especially their land taken from them, empty promised on development , but during the by-election election, BN just need to throw few hundred ringgits to each of the voters, had made them changed their perceptions for 360 degrees and voted for BN.

I am also in the agreement with you Masing Sir,  that we the dayak are stupid , because we can easily got cheated by BN even though majority of the villages heads (Tuai Rumah) know very well that BN leaders are corrupted.

YB Datuk Sir, even if we don’t tell the whole world that dayak  are stupid in politic, our counter parts in Semenanjung /Peninsular had already knew about it especially after 7th April By-election in Batang Ai.
You may need to explain these two observations Made by Us Regarding A Rift in PRS + Jabu :-

Based on our observation, there are two groups in your party PRS. One group is aligned to you and another group aligned to Donald Lawan , a strong supporter of PBB (YB Jabu Numpang).

Please help to explain these two observations :

(1) Why YB Mong was not involved in organizing the Pesta Tapah Pantu to be held from 24th to 26th April 2009?

(2) Why YB Snowdan and YB Masir Kujat were not invited to the Easter Dinner Organised by PRS Bukit Bangunan ?

(3) Can I say that there is a rift between your fiction (Yourself + YB Mong ) and PRS/PBB group ( Jabu, Donald lawan) ? Can I say that PRS is going into Crisis again ?

Until then Mupok aku....

Perak Crisis Continues

From The Stars
By CHRISTINA KOH
IPOH: Perak Speaker V. Sivakumar has again suspended State Assembly secretary Abdullah Antong Sabri, this time for issuing notices to convene a sitting on May 7 without his knowledge. Last month, Sivakumar suspended Abdullah for failing to act impartially over the calling of an emergency sitting on March 3. Sivakumar said the notices signed by Abdullah were sent to assemblymen on Friday despite the previous suspension. “Don’t you think it is necessary to consult the Speaker first? Who is the head of the House? It is embarrassing because I was the last person to know. “He didn’t consult me at all and as far as I know, I did not hear anything from the palace,” he told a press conference at his office at the state assembly building here yesterday. Saying he would seek an audience with the palace to clarify the matter, Sivakumar said he believed it was another ploy to belittle and insult the assembly. Asked if he would agree to the sitting if the palace had been consulted, Sivakumar said: “Of course, I would. If everything is in order, I will act accordingly. But until then, I have to have it clarified.” To a question, Sivakumar said that even if someone from the Mentri Besar’s office had obtained permission, the protocol would be to inform the Speaker first. Meanwhile, State Secretary Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Hashim said Sivakumar has no authority to suspend Abdullah. He said Sivakumar’s position “is only that of an administrative and diplomatic officer with a M52 grade.” “Only the government of the day has the authority to suspend the (assembly) secretary,” he said. As such, Dr Abdul Rahman said, only certain personnel, including he and the mentri besar, acting on behalf of the state government could suspend Abdullah. Assembly regulations require that it be convened within six months of the last session. The last day for that would be May 13. Read more here

Pesta Tapah in Pantu-BN Real Politic Of Development Exposed

Aerial View of Pantu, My Cowboy Town
In this posting I am going to EXPOSE to the world what has Barisan Nasional Politic of development done to develop one of the less developed sub-district in Sarawak or probably in the whole Malaysia. During the just concluded by-election for Batang Ai, in order to deny Parti Keadilan Rakyat candidate ex-YB Jawah Gerang victory, other than the abuse of power and corruptions, Barisan Nasional election working committee had also deceiving the voters in Lubok Antu by flashing the images of the old buildings and the old village houses in Permatang Pauh. The images were flashed full page for the duration of more than two consecutive days prior to the election day, in the two main newspapers in Sarawak , the Borneo Post and Eastern Times .
The intention was of course to lie to the people of Lubok Antu ( in which they always did to the native of Sarawak) that PKR defacto leader cannot develop Lubok Antu. Let's examine the development in term of the basic amenities between Lubok Antu and Permatang Pauh.
In Lubok Antu , even thought the biggest dam is located here , surprisingly less than 10% of the populations are provided with the electricity. And in some of the long houses , even thought the power cable was seen crossing zic-zac on top of their longhouses but they are still dark when come to night time. In Permatang Pauh, 100 % of the populations can watch their favourite satelite TV channels. For hospital and doctors, in Permatang pauh, they are served by few doctors compare to just a Health Assistant in LA. The nearest hospital in LA is located in Sri Aman which is about 100 Km away. For Education Facilities, parent s in Permatang Pauh don’t have to send their children to the other town as few primary and Secondary Schools can be found here.
A reminder to the BARISAN NASIONAL government don’t fool yourself and dont fool the rakyat, there is no way that the development in Sarawak and in Peninsular Malaysia can be compared with. YOUR POLITIC of Development is ZERO and on the expenses of the natives.
Aerial View of Pengkalan Pantu, where the Pesta Tapah is going to be held on 24th until 26th April 2009
In today posting, in coincide with the upcoming event in Pantu that is the Pesta Tapah, I am going to write an article on this small town , the place where I was raised and spent almost 85% of my childhood life. The Pesta Tapah or Festival of the Fish (Tapah fish is the species of river fish that can be found in Sanjau River ) is going to be held in Pantu on 24th to 26th April 2009. The reason why I chose Pantu as my subject of EXPOSE mainly because of these two reasons. The first reason is to promote the upcoming event , the Pesta Tapah so that those who have planning to join the festival know where is Pantu and how to go there and, also so that they will not be cheated by the promotion done by YB Snowdan Lawan. And the second reason and the most important reason is to EXPOSE the SINS of Barisan Nasional to the people of Pantu, to the rest of Malaysian , and also to the world populations.
Pantu Sub-District is one of the sub-district in Sri Aman District. It size is about 492 square kilometres.
The total population of Pantu is more than 8000 people (year 2000). Of this 8000 population, 90% are Iban where as Chinese represent about Breakdown of the population Iban where as the rest are Chines (about 5% ) and the other races (less than 0.5%). The main occupation of the people of pantu are farmers (Iban), government servants, shopkeepers and also plantation workers. In term of the income , about 85% of the Ibans population that live in the longhouses are living under the poverty line/hard core poor ( household income between RM 500 to RM 700/Month) It is located about 65 km from Sri Aman and about 139 km from Bandaraya Kuching. Means of transport for the people of Pantu is by van sapu or pirate van and for those who are staying by the river such as Kampung Sapak, Keranggas and Mawang, long boat is still their means of transportation. There is no public transport such as bus or train in Pantu. Let’s see whether the Politic of Development by Barisan Nasional Government has reached this cowboy town Pantu :
Welcome to Pantu - One row shoplot. The row has never been increased for the past 46 years ? Is this a politic of Development ?? There is no hotel, no public transport in Pantu. For those who planned to come for Pesta Tapah, please consider to bring tents as there's no hotel or lodging house here...THE POLITIC OF DEVELOPMENT
Pantu Dispensary. Man by Health Assistants and nurses. No doctor. Minor chronic sickness will be referred to Sri Aman hospital which is located about 65km away. ...THE POLITIC OF DEVELOPMENT
Chinese Primary School 150% better than SRK Pantu a goverment school.
Atlast Pantu got better Sub-District office to serve it 8000 populations...After almost 46 years under BN Rules
...THE POLITIC OF DEVELOPMENT
See the one and only Goverment Secondary School in Pantu...Looking at the condition of the school how could we, the Iban uplifting our level of education to be at the same par with our Chinese and Malay friends.
BN POLITIC OF DEVELOPMENT or POLITIC OF DOOM
Please look at the condition inside the boarding house. The hostel not only looked cramp but lacking in term of safety features. Do you see any escape door ? Can one imagine what will happen incase of emergency which require the pupils to evacuate the room ???
BN POLITIC OF DEVELOPMENT or POLITIC OF DOOM
Look at their Cloth line. We are living in the new millennium but after 46 years under Barisan Nasional Rule, we still can see this view ?
BN POLITIC OF DEVELOPMENT or POLITIC OF DOOM

You have seen the BN Goverment politic of development in Pantu in reality, now let us find out who are the members of Parliament and the State Legislative assembly for Pantu. As mentioned above, Iban counted for more than 90% of the total population of Pantu. It was one of the Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS) stronghold before it perished not long time ago (some believed insrumented by James Jemut Masing).

Pantu is located in P202 Sri Aman and N25 Balai Ringin.. It is represented by YB Masir Kujat and YB Snowdan Lawan respectively. Both of the candidates, YB Masir Kujat and Snowdan Lawan are Donald Lawan and PBB men. Many people believed that in the coming election, YB Mong Dagang will be dropped by Donald Lawan and replaced with his man....BN POLITIC OF DEVELOPMENT....Creation of Colony. Jabu, Taib Mahmud and Donald Lawan have started it first......

The coming Pesta Tapah is one of YB Snowdan Lawan political agenda to sideline YB Mong Dagang..... That's all for now folk...Please stay tune with Bukit Tunggal for BN Politic of Development EXPOSED... Until then mupok aku..

Najib's Barisan Nasional Goverment Is Moving Towards Destruction - Pakatan Rakyat to Take This Opportunity

Many believe that Najib term as Malaysian 5th Prime Minister will not last longer. Since he took over as Malaysian No 1 man from Pak Lah, he has been plugged with so many issues and problems such as (Not to include the Mongolian beuty and corruption involve the purchase of the second hand submarines) :- Barisan Nasional (BN) – Coalition Front - Losses In 7th April 2009 By-Election. Out of the 3 seats that it contested it lost 2 seats in Peninsular. Its only won the Batang Ai but with controversy. PKR claimed that BN employed dirty politic such as the implementation of instant project worth over RM 70 millions, rampant corruption and abused of power, misuse of government properties during the campaign and the most serious case involved the 14 ballot boxes from Jawah Gerang stronghold area been tampered believed to be by BN or EC. Dissatisfaction Over New Cabinet Line-up. Some members of the coalition have expressed their dissatisfaction openly over the distribution of the ministerial posts. It all started with MIC . It felt that Indian community is not well represented by the new government and it even suggested to pull-out from the coalition. Yesterday, 14th April 2009 , Michael Dawos one of the Bidayuh Assemblyman expressed his dissatisfaction over no Bidayuh assemblyman being included in Najib’s new line3-up. And this morning Abang Johari , the Deputy President of Parti Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) also expressed his dissatisfaction over Najib failure to nominate any Sarawakian Malay in his cabinet.
As usual Jabu is always arrogant and was the first to make scarstic remark against the newspapers for highlighting the issue. His main aim is to please his dying bos Tok Uban.
Statement by Abang Johari over Sarawak malay exclution as full minister.
Trengganu State Assembly Crisis. Yesterday ten of the 24 Barisan Nasional assemblymen stayed away from the Terengganu state assembly sitting , fanning speculation that it was related to a bid to oust Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said. According to the reliable source, the 10 assemblymen believed to be Tan Sri Jusuh, Trengganu ex-Menteri Besar followers were not happy with current MB Datu Ahmad Said. The Stand-off between the two coalitions in UMNO, (Tan Sri Jusoh and Tan Sri Said with the support of the palace) started since March 2008 over the removal of Tan Sri Jusoh from office by the palace.
Deputy Prime Minister Mahyuddin Yassin negative remarks toward Chinese Community. Mahyuddin Yassin in the interview published by Mingguan Malaysia on Sunday, 13th April 2009 (Could be the Black Sunday for the newly appointed DPM) when ask about BN defeats in Bukit Selambau and Bukit Gantang by-election said that he was not happy with the Chinese community for did not throw their votes to BN despite all the good things that the BN done to the Chinese Community such as the RM 1 Million allocation to the Chinese school. This interview was then published by the Chinese Newspaper last Monday 13th April 2009 and had caused the uproar among the Chinese Communities in Malaysia.
First Test for DPM-Will he Win the Battle ?
Pakatan Rakyat should start to plan now if they want to wrest power from BN. With these new development, to reinforced his motto 'One Malaysia. People First. Performance Now , Najib may call for snap election. As for Pakatan Rakyat especially in Sarawak, plan has to be drawn now and do not wait for the last minute. Take this opportunity to strengthen PKR in Sarawak particularly in the remote area, and to break BN strength as Tsun Zu said :- “ Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected and The general who loses a battle makes but few calculations beforehand. Thus do many calculations lead to victory, and few calculations to defeat: how much more no calculation at all! It is by attention to this point that I can foresee who is likely to win or lose” Until then Mupok aku “Agi Idup Agi Ngelaban”

Use Of The Word Allah - Iban Christians Risk Of Being Put Behind Bar

Will they Be Charged in Court For Using the Word Allah in their Prayer - Defying UMNO Instruction ??
Just like the other christians in this world, Easter Sunday was also celebrated by the christians in Sarawak. As for my family and I, we went to St Stephen Church Kota Samarahan. The church was full with more than 600 people. The services started at 8.30 AM and finished until 10.25AM. Different from St Thomas church , the services was conducted in one session and using Iban language. For more than 100 years, Iban language has been used by the church in Sarawak. Those who attended the church services this morning may be in risk of being charged in court for defying Federal goverment instruction on the use of the word Allah. Malaysia ex-Internal Affair Minister, Hamid Albar had last Month warned the non-muslim particularly the Christian not to use the word Allah in their publications.

Translation that may cause Iban christians
being charged in Court..
Cubbold Commission Report on Religious Matter
In Sarawak, in term of population Iban is the majority group. Prior to formation of Malaysia in 1962, the Cubbold Commission Report indicated that religous matter was one of the issue that was raised by the Iban leaders at that time. They disagreed with the idea that Islam should be made the official religion of the state. They proposed that the people of Sarawak be given the freedom to practice it own religion - fairly treated in term of development, financial support and so on.
The new cabinet that was announced by the new PM recently, Iban will be represented by Douglas Uggah of PBB and whose credibility to fight for the Iban cause is questionable and, another 2 Deputy ministers from PRS who had been in the cabinet for quite sometimes but have no gutts to propose for any idea in order to uplift the education and economic status of the Iban. Where as in the state level , Iban is represented by these useless ministers to name a few : James Jemut Masing, Jabu Numpang and Harden.
Malaysia is the only nation in this world that criminalised the usage of word Allah. All the Iban leaders be it at the state or at the Federal level were not dared to voice up our cause therefore we Iban as long as we go to the church, we will risk of being PUT BEHIND BAR....
As long as we still throw our VOTE to BN candidates in the coming election, our problem will be REMAINED the same..... Think about it as we need to reform.....CHANGE WE NEED...

Community Project By Bukit Tunggal - No More Flash Flood in Greenwood Park

For the past two years everytime when they saw the cloud, they start to worry about the flash flood. But sooner their trauma will come to an end as Majlis Perbandaran Kota Samarahan has started to construct and widen the drains in their housing estate. Most of the house owners that were affected by the flash flood when met this afternoon, expressed their gratitudes and thanking Bukit Tunggal for highlighting their problem on 11 March 2009 and two days later on 13 March 2009. Construction of the drain in progress - Thank you Majlis Perbandaran Kota Samarahan.
Construction of the drain to mitigate flash flood in Greenwood Park. Construction of Drain in Progress-BRAVO MPKS
But the issue on low quality of road signages in Greenwood Park reported by Bukit Tunggal on March 13, 2009 have not been rectified. The defect road signages still can be seen everywhere.
Look at the two road signages above, to which direction they are pointing to....Be careful especially when you drive at night in Greenwood Park as you may end-up in a drain..
Once again, thank you to MPKS for the prompt action in rectify the flash flood problem. But as for the low quality road signages similiar action should be taken immediately by MPKS.

As for Sarawak we will come back in less than 2 years with better preparation and strategy. Mupok aku.. "Agi Idup Agi Ngelaban"

Batang Ai By-Election-The Sins and The Crimes Committed By Barisan Nasional

The report released by International Organisation on Corruption indicates that Malaysia is one of the most corrupted nation in the world. Corruption in Malaysia is rampant. It involve not only those who are in the reign of power, but also those who have no position or at lower heirachy of the organization.
Corruption practice can be clearly seen during this on-going Batang Ai By-Election. Peter John the head of MAFREL (Malaysia For Fair & Free Election ) for N29 who had been stationed in LA to observe the election since the nomination day until this weekend have this to say (taken from Brokenshield) :-
1) During nomination day (29/3/09) we felt that the police should not have confisticated PAS flags, only returned after vehement protest from PKR. What puzzled us most was why the police allowed SUPP flags among the BN crowd. Report and photos taken during the incident has been submitted to HQ KL for further action.
2) BN candidate election posters were pestered a day before the nomination date. This is a gross defiance of the by-election conduct. We had taken photographs of those posters at Ng. Mepi longhouse. This was by no mean an isolated case because we found the same in other longhouses.
3) It was common sight to see BN giving away gifts of all sorts to the people in the constituency. We have pictorial evidences to that effect but I don’t think its wise me to disclose them here.
4) Misused of government vehicles is very rampant and seem to be an acceptable norm among BN officials. We took photos of not less than 47 SG vehicles either parked near the BN “ceramah” or near their operation rooms since nomination. During the nomination day alone we sighted not less than 120 SG vehicles not far from the nomination centre.
Conclusions By MAFREL
  • Riggings in this by-election are rampant and sad to say that the words “CLEANS, FAIR & FREE ELECTION does not exist in Batang Ai by-election vocabulary.
  • MAFREL (Batang Ai) had reached a conclusion that Batang Ai by-election is where politic is at its worst. It’s here that money politics rear its ugly head. By all accounts I dared says that Batang Ai by-election is the dirtiest, most unfair & expensive in Malaysian election history.
Based on the report and conclusions by MAFREL the best option for EC is to call-off N29 by-election and the matter must be not laughed out of the court.
Updates On Batang-Ai By-Election

1) 3/4/2009 , Batang Ai A Gift to Najib-Said Jabu. Jabu is, on the whole not a good leader for Iban. Batang Ai by majority is inhabit by Iban. By saying that by winning Batang Ai by election is consider a present from Sarawak Barisan Nasional to the new PM. Jabu as we all knew, has been trying to promote himself as the Iban paramount leader, the same status given by the Kadazan to their disgraced leader Joseph Pairin Kitingan. To qualify himself as the Iban leader for Iban community , Jabu must first of all must be able to protect the interest of the Iban, for example our obsolute right towards our own land (NCR land), to uplift the level of education and social economic of the Iban, just like our Chinese and Malay friends we, the Iban should also be entitled for the basic amenities, and last but not least.. Jabu you’re not brave enough and always cop out to fulfill Tok Uban wishes, so do you think that you are qualified as our leader??. Whether BN win or not in Lubok Antu , Iban shouldn’t be an object of sacrifice for your personal gain. Enough is enough. We have been suffering for more than 20 years under Tok Uban Regime. After sacrificing us to Tok Uban, now he want to sacrifice us to the another most corrupted leader and the mur…er. 2) 3/4/2009, Out Of the Contact –Awang Tengah. This stupid minister has no other reason to condemn and humiliated DSAI just blindly accusing DSAI politic as politic for personal. Check you fact correctly . Since PKR inception to Malaysian politic in 1999, it has changed the Malaysian Politic landscaped successfully. Before 1999 election, DAP and PAS has no match for BN…they were KING. But with PKR inceptions BN cannot fool around anymore. One more thing that I want to share with you Tengah is that about 200 years ago, Iban emigrated from Indonesia to Sarawak from Lemanak which is located in Lubok Antu nowadays. The history might repeat again. But this time it is about Iban political transformation through PKR. If we win in LA, we will spread our wing to the whole of Sarawak. As for Awang Tengah assurance that electricity will “reach” Lubok Antu one day….I guess probably for another 25 years from today ! 3) 3/4/2009, Mussen Promise The BN Candidate promised that if he win the election, he will mend the rift among BN and PKR supports as the first thing that he will do. How sure is he that this can be done in a very short time or when the damaged had been done. What about the rift between PRS (self appointed) President and PESAKA President as the rift has became wider and just a matter of time will explode. 4) 3/4/2009 No Gangsters or Illegal Betting in LA Said Datuk Mohamad Saleh, state CP. I am in the agreement with Sarawak CP that there’s no gangster and gamblers involved in N29 by-election, But what about the acts of gangsterism in BN camp. They have been kidnapping the long house chief, threaten them and their anembiaks with their Tuai Rumah monthly allowances the MRP projects. The above actions are the same with the protection money practice by gangsters. 5) 4/4/2009. A man without party Salang claimed that Bloggers have little impact on Outcome of the Election . By all means you can ignore what is written by bloggers as most of the longhouse folks have no access to internet. Could it be the justification why BN government for more than 46 years have deprived Iban from development??? Remember that most of Iban younger generations that live in the urban are the strong supporter of PKR. And one more thing Salang, you failed to understand the message of the bloggers..KEEP DREAMING. 6) 4/4/2009, Jawah is a “Recycled” Object Said Mahyuddin. I only have this for this useless minister. You have less than 1 year to occupy your existing DPM post. By less than one year Najib will appoint his cousin or PAKATAN will take over the government. Look at this very popular theory on Malaysian Prime Minister :- RahmanAbdul razakHussienonnMahathirmohamadAbdullahahmadNajibAnwarL...H…A…J . As you can see Mahyuddin, there's no more letter M, therefore you have no chance to become the next PM….Mahyuddin your time is near. 7) 4/4/2009, Awang Tengah Hit Out At PKR For Inciting Rakyat. WHO INCITE WHO. Awang Tengah you need to explain these to the Iban or the people of LA during your campaign trail,,,(1) Land title for all NCR lands (2) About the corrupt practices among BN leaders , lead by Tok Uban (3) The use of word “Allah” among Christian (4) malpractice and cronyism in BN 8) 4/4/2009 , Mahyuddin Yassin “Presented” RM 1.5 Million For People Of LA. Bad example from Bad BN ;leader…another corruption and abuse of power by BN. Will MACC take necessary action ???

Stay tune for Iban Politic in Bukit Tunggal
