ISMA and PERKASA should Learn From Pope Francis

Kuantan
1st December 2014

 Between Religious and Religious Bigots!

PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (pic) said while leaders of the Christian and Muslim worlds are beating a path to reach out to one another in peace and tolerance, Malaysian Muslim leaders in the just-concluded Umno general assembly are taking backward steps in relations with non-Muslims.

He said the attitude of Umno leaders and grassroots supporters, with their "racist slurs, religious intolerance and bigotry" are now “the new narrative among those in power”.
Anwar, in a news conference in Kuching this afternoon, noted the diverging path the Roman Catholic's pontiff, Pope Francis who is on a visit to Turkey, was taking in contrast to Umno.
The pope had also been invited by the Mufti of Turkey to conduct religious rites in the famed Blue Mosque in Istanbul – an invitation which Anwar said was unthinkable in Malaysia.
Together with Istanbul's Grand Mufti Rahmi Yaran, Pope Francis yesterday stood for two minutes of silent prayer facing east in the Blue Mosque, one of Turkey's most important mosques, in what one news portal described as “a powerful vision of Christian-Muslim understanding at a time when neighbouring countries are experiencing violent Islamic assault on Christians and religious minorities”.

Umno leaders should learn from Pope Francis’s Turkey visit

Malaysian Muslim should Learn From Turkey!

“There is a need to appreciate this move. It has relevance in terms of our attitude and the Umno general assembly's conduct in relation with non-Muslims in this country,” Anwar said.
He said Pope Francis' visit is a gesture “that would go a long way towards blazing a trail for a new chapter on Christian-Muslim relations and mending the strained relations of the past.
“Once we get past theological polemics, which more often than not puts a strain on inter-religious relations, the matters that bind these two great faiths could be reason enough towards cultivating tolerance and respect," Anwar said.

The visit of Pope Francis to Turkey gives new meaning to relations between Christendom and Islam and heralds a new chapter in the relations between the two great civilisations, Anwar said.
He said Pope Francis was radical because he preferred to "relate rather than pontificate".
“That has made all the difference. He goes to Turkey not to preach but to reach out, very much in the tradition of Christ, with humility and peace to the Muslim world.”

What was even more significant, Anwar said, was it askewed “the stereotyping, the typical association of Islam with extremism and violence”.

He said this genuine desire for understanding must therefore be received warmly and reciprocated by leaders of the Muslim world. – November 30, 2014.

Welcome back Bukittunggal - The Defense Against ISMA and PERKASA

Kuantan
1st December 2014

 Welcome back Bukittunggal.com

After a long time absence from the world of writing due to work and had to complete my education , today I decided to become active again in the world of blogging . At the beginning Bukittunggal talked a lot about politics in Sarawak , namely about the Barisan Nasional government intrigue against the Dayak community , causing the community becoming one of the poorest races in Malaysia .

Starting December 1, 2014 , it will broaden its scope. Starting  from today , it will discuss about race and religious relation in Malaysia . I am becoming interested in these topics  because there are certain groups who are trying to use race and religion as a way for them to cling to their power . In addition, the relationship between religion and race are the two very important factors that can influence the security of the country. Of late we used to hear how the world is in chaos due to the tension between people of different religions. For examples the Israel-Palestine conflict , conflict in Southern Thailand , conflict in the Middle East involving the ISIS, Boko Haram in Nigeria are some of the conflicts that were caused by the religions.
In Malaysia of late , the relation between citizens of different religions and races are getting worse especially  by  the mushrooming of left-wing extremist NGO in Malaysia sucha as the PERKASA and ISMA .

Left-wing NGO that Instigated Malaysian-Muslims to Hate Non-Muslim

PERKASA is a non-governmental Malay supremacy organisation that was formed by Ibrahim Ali in the aftermath of the Malaysian General Elections in 2008. Whereas ISMA or Malaysian Muslim Solidarity or in Malay: Ikatan Muslimim Malaysia, is an Islamic non-government organisation (NGO) in Malaysia. It was established in 1997 with the name Ikatan Siswazah Muslim Malaysia, which was later changed to Ikatan Muslimin Malaysia in 2005.
Both of organizations tried to incite the feelings of hatred among Malaysian Muslim against the non-Muslims.
Bukittunggal.com will defend the Malaysian Non-Muslim especially the Christians from ISMA and PERKASA.

RACIST has no place in Malaysia!

Le's all Malaysian irrespective of our religions or races come together and fight those RELIGIOUS BIGOTS or RACIST!

RELIGIOUS BIGOT Should be stripped-off their citizenships!

Bukit Gelugor By Election - DAP Candidate Ramkarpal racing against dad in bid for record win

Saturday, 24th May 2014
Kuantan, Pahang

Ramkarpal the late Karpal Singh third son is expected to win Bukit Gelugor by-election but the big  question is whether he can win with bigger majority compare to his late father. Let's all wait for the result which is going to be known tomorrow, Sunday, 25th May 2014.

DAP’s Ramkarpal Singh greets voters at the Taman Tun Sardon food court in Penang, May 24, 2014. — Picture by K.E. OoiSince he was nominated on May 12 until today, DAP Bukit Gelugor candidate Ramkarpal Singh Deo’s daily schedule has been packed with programmes from dawn till long past midnight.
Today, the last day of campaigning before voters head to cast their ballots tomorrow, was no exception.
Despite the mega ceramah at Han Chiang High that went on well past the witching hour, the 38-year-old was up at the crack of dawn today to begin his final round of markets visits — popular haunts on the weekend — to meet and greet his potential future constituents.
“From Day One, I’ve not had a moment of rest due to the back-to-back programmes,” the lawyer told The Malay Mail Online during a rare break on his marathon campaign trail at the DAP Bukit Gelugor operations centre here.
The third son of the late Bukit Gelugor MP Karpal Singh was kept on a fast-paced punishing schedule to make his presence felt almost everywhere. It worked. He was warmly received at all the events he attended.
Most of the constituents acted familiar with the political greenhorn, albeit as “Karpal’s son”.
Wherever he went, crowds flocked, curious and eager for an up-close-and-personal glimpse of the man who would inherit the mantle of the Tiger of Jelutong, as Karpal was known for decades.
Ramkarpal was frequently stopped on his walkabout with requests for group photos. Some even asked for his autograph on the DAP Bukit Gelugor pamphlets that were being handed.
In the absence of contest from the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition in the Bukit Gelugor race, Ramkarpal believed he is likely to take the MP’s hat but played down his confidence, voicing his biggest fear that the number of voters may not be as many of the turnout in last year’s general election.
“Voters turnout is really a major concern as some, who are outstation, may not even come back to vote. We need to reach out to as many voters as possible to get them to come out to vote,” Ramkarpal said.
The Bukit Gelugor parliamentary seat, covering three state constituencies of Paya Terubong, Air Itam and Seri Delima, was triggered by Karpal’s sudden demise after a car crash last month.
The constituency, with 82,431 registered voters, is a DAP stronghold after Karpal wrested it from MCA in 2004. He had retained the seat in the last two general elections with bigger vote majorities each time, garnering 42,706 vote majority last year.
Certain of retaining the seat when MCA has bowed out from contesting in the by-election, DAP’s campaign had initially focused on securing an even bigger majority while introducing Ramkarpal as a capable lawyer who happens to be Karpal’s son.
By the second week, the party realised that many constituents, especially those in the low income group areas of Air Itam and Paya Terubong, were not aware that they are within the Bukit Gelugor constituency.
The party had started sending out postcards to all registered voters with information of their voting centres to encourage them to come out to vote.
At the DAP ceramah, held mostly twice a night at two different locations within residential areas, the party had been constantly reminding registered voters to turn up at the polling centres and cast their ballot tomorrow.
Karpal had garnered a total 56,303 votes last year while MCA’s Teh Beng Yeam got 13,597 votes.
The only real hurdle that may trip the party in its quest to secure a rousing victory would be the low numbers that often plague by-elections compared to a general elections.
The voters turnout last general election was 86.3 per cent, one of the highest in the country.
Ramkarpal is facing a four-corner fight against Parti Cinta Malaysia’s Datuk Huan Cheng Guan and independent candidates Mohd Nabi Bux Mohd Sathar and Abu Backer Sidek Mohammad Zan.

Let's All pray to god  for DAP to retain this parliamentary seat with bigger majority!

Penduduk Rumah Panjang Di Kapit Di Tipu Masuk Islam Oleh Sekumpulan Ustaz dan Ustazah

Tuesday, 20th May 2014
Kuantan, Pahang

Program Anak Angkat By NGO from Peninsular In Sarawak Schools Suspends

Thursday, 15th May 2014
 KUANTAN

Semenanjung NGO tries To Convert Christian Students In Sarawak

Sarawak's education department today suspended the controversial "Anak Angkat" (adoption) programme in schools in the state following protests from parents that the event was a covert attempt to convert Christian students to Islam.

Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister's Department Datuk Daud Abdul Rahman (pic), who ordered the suspension of the programme, however, said the entire issue was a misunderstanding.

He said it was a sanctioned motivational programme funded by the Rural and Regional Development Ministry, aimed at students from poor families.

He said the programme was run by an NGO called the Organisation of Graduates and Educational Institutions Malaysia, or better known as Haluan, which is based in Bangi, Selangor.

Daud said all religious elements in the future module of the programme would be removed.

“There was no intention to convert non-Muslims to Islam in the programme,” Daud said.

Yesterday, Sarawak Land Development Minister Tan Sri Dr James Masing highlighted this issue after parents of students in SMK Balai Ringin complained about the programme.

The parents told Masing the programme, first held at SMK Serian, a school about 60km from Kuching, was attended by about 50 mostly non-Muslim students on March 8.

The second was held at SMK Balai Ringin, a school about 6km from SMK Serian, last Saturday but the number of students who attended was only 21.

The whole programme was supposed to be run for 10 weeks on every Saturdays.

Students told their parents two teachers picked who should attend the programme and said it was a co-curriculum activity, but added they were asked questions on Islam.

They also pointed out that the programme facilitators were all Muslims and the talks had religious elements.

Daud said the suspension would allow the education department to review the module of the programme to remove all suspicions about it being a covert religious conversion programme.

“What happened in SMK Balai Ringin is a very regrettable affair. Even though the intention of the motivational programme was good, it was misunderstood by the students and their parents,” Daud said.

He said if it is found that there was an attempt by the NGO, Haluan, to use the programme to convert students in Sarawak schools, action would be taken against them.

“We believe that conversion is up to the individual. Any attempt to covertly convert non-Muslims to Muslims is not right.”

Daud made it clear that it was the policy of the state that Islamic religious agencies in Sarawak would never become involved in attempts to convert non-Muslims into Islam.

He also said to preserve the harmony and religious tolerance in the state, the Sarawak Majlis Islam kept tabs on all “dakwah” (missionary) activities in the state.

“Any missionary group coming into the state would be vetted and their programmes scrutinised.”

He said those that do attempt to break the state's "no-forced conversion" policy would be deported.

Haluan started its programme in 2009 with the aim to motivate poor students to perform better academically.

TERAS Members Line up!

Tan Sri William Mawan and Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh led eight other state Barisan Nasional
(BN) lawmakers to quit their respective parties to join Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak (Teras) . Among the members are four from Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) namely Datuk Peter Nansian, Datuk Sylvester Entri, Paulus Palu Gumbang, Rosey Yunus and Baram MP Anyi Ngau.
Mawan said the door was still open to other interested representatives including Anthony Nogeh and Wong Judat. He stressed, however, there was no room for SPDP deputy president Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing. Mawan surprised the room when he announced Teras was also working to accommodate three Parti Keadilan Rakyat representatives if they were interested in joining the political entity.
From Sarawak United Peoples Party, Soon Koh is joined by Dr Johnical Rayong, Dr Jerip Susil and Ranum Mina. A surprise inclusion is Pelagus assemblyman George Lagong of Sarawak Workers Party (SWP). Nansian mentioned that Teras would soon submit its application to join BN. The party will also start working on its new protem committee lineup.
With this new lineup, Teras has two ministers and four assistant ministers.

Hope this is not another  "Dayak Political Destruction"

Najib Razak Announced Flight MH370 'crashed into south Indian Ocean

MH 370 Crashed at Indian Ocean. How Malaysia's Prime Minister Made a Stunning announcement!

Malaysia's prime minister has announced that missing flight MH370 crashed in the southern Indian Ocean.
Najib Razak said this was the conclusion of fresh analysis of satellite data tracking the flight.
Malaysia Airlines had told the families of the 239 people on board, he said.
The BBC has seen a text message sent to families by the airline saying it had to be assumed "beyond reasonable doubt" that the plane was lost and there were no survivors.
There were 227 passengers on flight MH370, many of them Chinese.
Relatives of those on board who watched the announcement at a Beijing hotel wept with grief, and some were taken away on stretchers by medical

China has demanded that the Malaysian authorities make available the evidence on which they based their announcement about the jet's fate.
And some relatives of Chinese passengers expressed scepticism about their conclusion, as the plane has not been found yet.
Flight MH370 disappeared after taking off on 8 March from Kuala Lumpur.
A big international search operation has been taking place in the southern Indian Ocean, along the southern arc or corridor of the plane's possible route, more than 1,500 miles (2,500km) off the south-west coast of Australia.
However, the search had to be suspended on Tuesday due to bad weather, the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (Amsa) said.
In the past day, both Australian and Chinese air force crews have reported spotting debris.
The unidentified objects have been seen in separate parts of the vast search area, in some of the world's most treacherous and remote waters.
Sad
The announcement by Prime Minister Najib Razak came at a late-night news conference in Kuala Lumpur.
It was based on new analysis by British satellite firm Inmarsat, which provided satellite data, and the UK's Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB).
The firms "have concluded that MH370 flew along the southern corridor, and that its last position was in the middle of the Indian Ocean, west of Perth," Mr Najib said.
"This is a remote location, far from any possible landing sites. It is therefore with deep sadness and regret that I must inform you that, according to this new data, flight MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean."
Mr Najib appealed to the media to respect the privacy of the families of the passengers and crew, saying the wait for information had been heartbreaking and this latest news harder still.
Malaysia Airlines later said it informed the majority of the families in advance of the prime minister's statement in person and by telephone, and that text messages "were used only as an additional means of communicating with the families".

The text messages read: "Malaysia Airlines deeply regrets that we have to assume beyond any reasonable doubt that MH370 has been lost and that none of those on board survived... we must now accept all evidence suggests the plane went down in the Southern Indian Ocean."
Selamat Omar, the father of a 29-year-old aviation engineer who was on the flight, said some family members of other passengers broke down in tears at the news.
"We accept the news of the tragedy. It is fate," Selamat told the Associated Press in Kuala Lumpur.
Fresh analysis methods
Inmarsat had already revealed that it did indeed receive signals - automated "pings" - from the plane over its satellite network after the aircraft ceased radio and radar contact.
Sources  told the BBC that flight MH370 continued to ping for at least five hours after the aircraft left Malaysian airspace - which indicated the plane was intact and powered.
And initial analysis showed the location of the final "ping" was probably along one of two vast arcs running north and south
An RAAF AP-3C Orion makes final approach to Pearce airbase after an 11-hour search mission 24/03/2014
On Monday, the Malaysian prime minister said Inmarsat had been able to shed further light on the plane's flight path by performing further calculations on the MH370 data "using a type of analysis never before used in an investigation of this sort".
According to Inmarsat, this involved a totally new way of modelling, which was why it took time.
The company told the BBC the new calculation involved crunching far more data and that engineers spent all weekend looking back at previous Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 flights.
They compared the satellite data from those flights with flight MH370 and were able to work out that it went south.
As far as the engineers could tell, the plane was flying at a cruising height above 30,000ft, but its final position could not be pinpointed more clearly, says BBC transport correspondent Richard Westcott.
Inmarsat gave the AAIB the new data on Sunday, it said, which had to be checked before it could be made public.

Condolence To Karpal "The Tiger Of Jelutong" Family

Kuantan
17th April 2014

Just finished reading the bibliography book about Karpal Singh entitled "Karpal Singh Tiger Of Jelutong" last week, and this morning the whole Malaysians were stunned by the sudden demised of  Mr Karpal Singh due to traffic accident.
As Tim Donoghue put it in the bibliography, Karpal Singh was one of Malaysia's most prominent lawyers and a controversial figure both in the law and politics. Ever since I heard about Karpal Singh while I was still serving in the Armed Forces, he was always an outspoken advocate of human right in Malaysia for more than 40 years, both as lawyer and politicians. His sudden demised is a  big lose to Malaysia.  If I were asked to choose, I prefer those useless and racist Malaysians liked Zulkifli Nordin, Ibrahim Katak or Dr Mahathir to die first. But now we have to accept the fact that Malaysia had just lost its  most valuable son. Hopefully all of his children will be able to continue his struggle.

How Did He Pass Away.

May Your Soul Rest In Peace Karpal Singh Tiger of Jelutong

KAMPAR: Bukit Gelugor MP and veteran DAP leader Karpal Singh was killed when the car he was travelling in collided with a five-tonne lorry near Gua Tempurung on the North South Expressway here early Thursday.

DAP leader Karpal Singh died after the vehicle he was travelling in was involved in a crash near Gopeng, Perak on the North-South highway at 1.30am.
It was believed that 74-year-old Bukit Gelugor MP was travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Penang to attend a court hearing later in the morning when the accident occurred.
The Toyota Alphard, he was in along with three passengers including his son Ramkarpal, was believed to have collided with a lorry before going out of control.

His son Gobind Singh Deo, when contacted, confirmed that Karpal had died on the spot in the accident.
