Welcome back Remaung6renjer

7th April 2018
Kuantan, Pahang

Welcome back Remaung6Renjer After years of not blogging, today Remaung6renjer is back again. Thanks to blogger for enabling me to recover my "lost" blog. The time is just perfect for me to blog again due to these two reasons:-

1. Completed my studies from Bachelor to Master Degree. For the past 5 years, I had been struggling with preparing my assignments as such unable to blog. With the completion of my studies (before continuing to Phd) I now can concentrate on blogging to spread the "Not Fake" news to all the Dayak in Sarawak.

2. As we all heard yesterday, that Malaysian Parliament is dissolving today, and I hope this blog could help to spread the news why the Dayak particularly the Iban should not vote for BN. During this election, this blog will be a tool for me to campaign among the Iban.

To all the readers out there, please keep supporting me.

PKR Bongkar Taktik Kotor BN

Sunday, 16th Dec 2012
Kuantan, Pahang

Taktik KOTOR 2:
Salahguna Kuasa Untuk Kepentingan Politik.

Taktik KOTOR 6:
Akta Zalim Menindas Hak Asasi.

Jawabnya, jangan mimpi!

Betulkah PM Najib boleh disamakan dengan Pandi Kutty?

Kuching
Tuesday, 10th May 2011

Perbuatan Najib Macam Pandi Kutty?

Dominique Ng Quits PKR and Will Face Off With Them In Padungan Or Batu Lintang

Kuching
Tuesday, 5th April 2011

The only PKR Assemblyman who had been dropped from PKR's candidacy in the 10th state election has quit PKR and vow to teach them a lesson by challenging them either in Padungan or Batu Lintang. Dominique was the best politician that PKR ever had in Sarawak. By dropping him, PKR may lost the only seat that they had ever won in Sarawak  and may Kilal (not winning anything or lay man term Zero Point) in this election!

PKR is going to Kilal in this election. By dropping Dominique, they dropped their Good Luck!

Dominique Ng, the PKR candidate who won Padungan in the 2006 state election, has quit the party to contest either in the same seat or neighbouring Batu Lintang as an independent candidate.

Ng, a lawyer, was dropped from the PKR line unveiled on Monday.

"If you have not done your job or cannot defend your seat, you should not contest. But I have done both," Ng told a press conference on Tuesday.

He had defeated SUPP woman leader Lily Yong with a majority of 1,417 votes in 2006.

He told reporters that he has conveyed his decision via sms to PKR de-facto head and Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim.

After tough negotiations, PKR was forced to swap the Padungan seat with DAP for Batu Lintang. PKR plans to contest 48 seats, DP 15 and PAS 5.

There are 71 seats up for grabs in the 10th Sarawak state election. Nominations are due on Wednesday and balloting on April 16.

Meanwhile, Ng is keeping his cards close to his chest, saying he would announce only on Wednesday where he would contest.

He said the decision to swap seats with DAP made him realise that something was not right in the state PKR. However, he professed high regard for national party leaders, including PKR president Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

Ng, a DAP candidate for Padungan in the 1996 state election, joined PKR in 1999 and was appointed the Sarawak deputy secretary. But he soon quit when durng the 1999 general election, Chong Chieng Jen was nominated by PKR for the Bandar Kuching parliamentary seat.

Sabah PKR’s state liaison chief Pajudin quits to join Umno

Kuching
Saturday, 5th February 2011

Problem-ridden Sabah PKR took another blow after its recently appointed state liaison chief Pajudin Nordin quit to join Umno.

Pajudin’s abrupt resignation from the party on Saturday further complicates the ongoing leadership turmoil in Sabah PKR where 18 out of 24 division chiefs had been calling for his removal almost immediately after he was made state chief on Jan 9.

He quit one day before PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail is due to meet state party chiefs to resolve the dispute.

Announcing his move to join Umno before Chief Minister Datuk Musa Aman at the latter’s Seri Gaya official residence late Saturday, the 42-year-old Pajudin insisted his move had nothing to do with the no confidence move against him.

“I am disappointed with (PKR supremo Datuk Seri) Anwar Ibrahim and (party president Datin Seri Dr) Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

“Their actions make Sabah PKR leaders look stupid. They say they respect the state but they have not done anything to resolve the problems faced by the party here.

“All Anwar and Wan Azizah have done is to make Sabah PKR irrelevant like how the party is elsewhere in the country.

“PKR has no direction, no real struggle and no credible leaders,” said Pajudin who joined the party in 1999 and was among the first of the party’s members in Sabah.

He said he did not receive any cooperation from Anwar and Wan Azizah in his efforts to strengthen Sabah PKR.

Pajuddin said more Sabah PKR division chiefs, disenchanted with Anwar and Wan Azizah, were likely to be resigning soon.

“On the other hand, I see the Prime Minister providing real leadership in the country as the Chief Minister is doing in Sabah,” he added.

Musa said he was not surprised over Pajudin’s intention to join Umno due to the turmoil in PKR in the state and nationwide.

“PKR has really lost its relevance,” he said, adding that he had been aware of Pajudin’s intention to join Umno for sometime.

“But we gave him time to make up his mind as to where his political allegiance lay.

“There was no coercion on our part. It was purely his intention after realising that the Barisan Nasional’s struggles are genuinely for the people,” Musa added.

Dayak Must Go back To basic By Joining SNAP

Kuching
Thursday, 20th January 2011

"The New SNAP in the making...Starting Point in SIBU"

Is PKR The Right Party For Dayak/Iban?

About three years ago I decided to join Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) because I could not find any party that fit to my struggle at that time.
But lately I saw the party has diverted from its original struggle. Greed and power has become the norm among leaders in the party. The resignation of Zaid Ibrahim and Jefferrey Kitingan has weaken the party further. Thing became worst with both leaders forming-up their own party and NGO; Zaid formed Parti Kesejahteraan Insan Tanah Air (KITA) whareas Jeffrey Kitingan formed  United Borneo Front (UBF).

Just like UMNO, Internal bickering, politicking, back-stabbing, treason, sabotage have begun to rear its ugly head within the party. I don't have to go far to provide an example. During the party election in P202, one can see how the three candidates Jimmy, Ibi and Cubbold could not see face  to face with each others.

Why Iban/Dayak Should Join SNAP

In December 2010, the same friend that influenced me to join PKR had talked to me about the plan by SNAP leadership to rejuvenate (as I preferred to call it, even thought the party leaderships called it rebranding) the party

At first I was not interested to join the party because  the party crisis in 1983 which resulted in the formation of the PBDS still very clear in my mind. Just like the majority of the dayak/Iban ( eventhought I was still studying in Form 3 at the time of the  crisis ) my family was the strong supporter of SNAP and its young aspiring politician Datuk Daniel Tajem.
But with the new development especially with Datuk Daniel Tajem returned to the party by becoming its advisor, has changed my feeling towards the party.

Other than that I have been looking at PKR as not very serious with Sarawak. The party is
more focused on the general election in the peninsula. It is not interested in Sarawak. If the party is not intetrested with us, why we should stay cling to the party?

I Urge the Iban/Dayak to Join SNAP

Most if not all the Dayak/Iban that are  in the PKR nowasaday are from the supporter of  the unregistered Malaysia Dayak Congress. Since SNAP has rebranding itself  similar to the MDC or PBDS. Romours have been flying around that SNAP is a BN tool to sebotage People Alliance (Pakatan Rakyat) cooperation in Sarawak. I guarantee that SNAP presence will fill-up the vacuum left by PBDS.

I hope that all partyless ex-PBDS members, all dayak leaders and supporters in PKR, DAP and PCM, and also to all the dayak in BN component parties to come together and join this new SNAP.

I am extending this invitation especially to Sdra Baru Bian (who himself was the strong supporter of the unregistered MDS) to join SNAP so as not to split the dayak strength. Let vacant  PKR  because the party is  more suitable for the Malay/Melanau.
Hopefully with this new SNAP, the interests of the dayaks will be assured off...

Jeffrey to quit PKR on Thursday

Kuching
Wednesday, 15th Dec 2010

I believe with Dr Jeffrey Departure, PKR Chances to Wrest Sbah from BN will reduce...

On 7 October 2006 A large gathering was held in Tambunan, Sabah, to herald the entry of Dr Jeffrey Gapari Kitingan into Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR).
But according to the source, Dr Jeffrey will announcing his departure from PKR, a departure that will affect PKR chances to wrest Sabah from BN by tomorrow.

Phone lines in Sabah are burning up with speculations that Sabah PKR strongman, Jeffrey Kitingan, will be quitting the party.

Party insiders are expecting the former PKR vice-president to announce his departure from the beleaguered party on Thursday, the day he returns from his two-month vacation from politics.

Jeffrey is scheduled to hold a press conference the same day at a restaurant in Penampang.

Jeffrey's aide, Philip Among, said his boss was holding the press conference "to explain his political destiny and the future of his struggle".

"He will also announce the setting up of a movement," Among added.

Among, who quit PKR weeks ago, is facilitating Thursday's press conference at the restaurant which was booked for the function. Scores of Jeffrey's ardent supporters are expected to show up.

Weeks of speculation that Jeffrey would follow in the footsteps of Zaid Ibrahim, who quit PKR not so long ago, culminated in a burst of text messages saying that he would leave on Thursday.

Jeffrey, when approached, remained tight-lipped. Both his lieutenants Danial John Jambun and Mozes Michael Iking, who were suspended from PKR for their involvement in the aborted attempt to register a PKR-breakaway party last year, also refused to talk on Jeffrey's move.

Rumour has it that Jeffrey may lead a political party and work with a Sarawak-based party and AKIM, the peninsular-based party to be headed by Zaid.

Jeffrey's disenchantment with PKR stemmed from, among others, the party's failure to leave Sabah leadership issues to Sabahans, lack of commitment from the PKR leaders to the 20-point Malaysia Agreement and Borneonisation.

Jeffrey has been politically rootless since the ouster of the Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) government led by his elder brother Joseph Pairin Kitingan in 1994 by the current Umno-led Barisan Nasional coalition government.

He joined and left in quick succession several newly-formed political parties following the fall of PBS.

The Result Of PKR P202-Branch Election Could Be An Indicator The End Road For Ibi Candidacy In N25-Balai Ringin

Kuching
Monday, 27th September 2010

Ibi Uding Dream to Stand As Candidate under PKR Flag In N25-Balai Ringin Tattered?
The PKR P202-Sri Aman had yesterday successfully held its election to select it new committee members. The election was very important for PKR P202-Sri Aman Branch in its preparation for the coming state election which is due by next year.
The election which was scheduled earlier  from 10.00am until 4.00pm was rescheduled to from 11.00am until 5.00pm. No objection was received from the candidates.

At the beginning the situation was quite tense when Ibi Uding unprofessionally confronted Saudara Cubbold John over an article entitled Ibi Uding We Know What You Did Last Election Year 2006 published in Dayak Nation and Bukittunggal.com early September 2010. Despite being confronted by Ibie Uding infront of tens of party members, but saudara Cubbold John Cubbold still managed to keep cool, otherwise the election might not be held as smooth as it was yesterday.

In the election, about 23 positions were contested as follows:-

(1) Branch Head
(2) Deputy Branch Head
(2) 21 Committee Members.

For the Deputy Branch head, the contest was won by Moses Tait anak Libok. For the  Branch head, the contest was won by Jimmy Donald with the majority of 8 votes  ahead of  his nearest rival Ibi Uding. The overall result was as follows :-

(1) Saudara Cubbold John Lusoi - 10 Votes
(2) Ibi Uding - 76 Votes
(3) Jimmy Donald - 84 Votes

Overall Result

Geographically, most of Cubbold John and Ibi Uding supporters came from Balai Ringin Area to the north until  Lachau Bazaar, where as for  Jimmy Donald, most of his supporter came from Selepong  to  Pakit.
In term of the  attendance, only 170  or less than 40 % ( percents)  of  party members turned up on that day.
Cubbold John was the protem Chairman for P202-Sri Aman and subsequently selected as the Chairman during the P202-Sri Aman branch election held on 24th April 2010

Jimmy Donald Joined PKR Way after Cubbold John....

Jimmy Donald joined PKR and PKR P202-Sri Aman Branch on 17 November 2010 after he was dropped and replaced by Masir Kujat by BN  in the 13th GE. When told that Jimmy Donald won the election, the news did not surprise me because Jimmy Donald is a very experienced politician, and had learned a lot from the PBDS crisis.
Based on Bukittunggal.com observation, he had started the strategy  to win PKR P202-Sri Aman branch head since June 2010. The man behind his strategy was his son, Leon Jimmy Donald. who had started to recruit its members from Empaling, Ubah, Gayau, Limau. Most of the members recruited by Leon were aligned to Cubbold, but in the election, most of these DAP members had voted for Jimmy Donald.

Recruitment Drive by DAP in Simpang Ubah and along Sg Tenggang-Simpang Punda  had caused Saudara Cubbold to lose  his Ketua Cabang Post!

Candidate With Lack of  EQ

When speaking to party members that presented during the announcement of the election result, Ibi Uding contemplated that judging from the result of the election, she  was the most suitable candidate to represent PKR  in N25-Balai Ringin, for the coming state election to challenge YB Snowdan Lawan from PRS . But based on the overall result of the election, as most of the post contested had won by those who aligned to Jimmy Donald, Ibi Uding aim to stand as PKR candidate in N25-Balai Ringin may just remained as a  dream.

Non-Jimmy Supporters to stay outside without refreshment..PKR ought to treat all members equally....

Election Officer...To ensure that Election is done properly....SYABAS!

One of the party member exercising his right going into the polling room!

Peeping through the  Window to follow  closely a vote counting!

Based on Bukittunggal.Com personal observation on Ibi behaviour, on top of being errogant, she is lacked of leadership quality especially in emotional intelligence (EQ). This was judging from how she confronted Saudara Cubbold during the election. If the party choose to nominate her as a candidate in Balai Ringin, the party will not only risk of losing the election, but the party will be divided further, thus will end party struggle in Balai Ringin.

"I was sitting here when Ibi supporters distributing the mineral water. I was not given the drink  because I am Saudara Cubbold supporter", said Francis Uli, at the same time pointing at the empty bottles of mineral water scattered on the verandah near the chair where he sat down.

Empty mineral water bottles scattered all over the verandah, believed to be left by Ibi supporters....."I was not given the drink  because
I supported saudara Cubbold", said Francis Uli when met by Bukittunggal. Is this the  culture that  we would like to practice in PKR?  One must remember that we   all are  belonged to the same party!

N25-Balai Ringin is one of the Iban majority area that has been eyed by PKR. If PKR want to win Balai Ringin in the coming state election, it must not rely on the candidate which has no leadership skills especially in the EQ. Do not choose the candidate just because the party need to achieve the target of 30 percents of the candidate are women, my future and that of the Iban in Balai Ringin is at stake.

Ibi is a desperado who will do what ever it takes to become candidate for PKR in N25 Balai Ringin. In her speech delivered immediately after the result of the election was announced, Ibi said that based on the result of the election whereby she secured the second highest votes, no doubt that she was the perfect candidate to represent PKR in N25-Balai Ringin!

Saudara Cubbold..LAWAN TETAP LAWAN

To saudara Cubbold and the rest who had lost in the election, please remember this :-

Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning (Churchill, 1942)

Please remember also let's move on, and LAWAN TETAP LAWAN!

Pemilihan PKR 2010-Zaid leads Azmin 4-3 in PKR No.2 chase, Sivarasa ahead for VP

Kuching
Saturday, 18th September 2010

Nominations for the PKR central leadership have begun filtering in, with the first 9 divisions in Kedah and Kelantan all nominating incumbent Wan Azizah Wan Ismail for the party presidency.

But for the No. 2 post that has been hyped up as a dog-fight between vice president Azmin Ali and FT chief Zaid Ibrahim, preliminary signs have emerged that PKR members may spring their own surprise.

Zaid, who hails from Kelantan, chalked an early lead over Azmin but party insiders say that is likely to fade as divisions from other states start their Annual General Meetings on Saturday.

The surprise nominations were for strategic director Tian Chua and vice president Mustaffa Kamil Ayub, who received one nomination each. Zaid received 4, while Azmin 3 (scroll below for detailed list).

For the 4 vice-presidencies, Subang MP Sivarasa Rasiah led with 5 nominations, hotly followed by by Lee Boon Chye, Shamsul Iskandar, Azmin Ali and Fuziah Salleh who received 4 nominations each . (scroll below for detailed list)

Siva, Boon Chye and Azmin are incumbent VPs, Shamsul is the PKR Youth chief while Fuziah is the national elections director.

First political party of its size to hold direct elections

PKR's 205 divisions kicked off their historic direct election on Friday, beginning with Kedah and Kelantan. Divisions in Perak, Pahang, Malacca, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, Perlis and Sabah will hold their meetings on Saturday. Whilst Selangor, Johor, Sarawak and the Federal Territories will meet next weekend onwards.

Apart from electing their office-bearers, division members will also submit nominations for the central leadership, i.e. the 25-member seat council including for the positions of president, deputy president and 4 vice-presidencies.

The AGMs will be held from September 17 till October 3. Nominations for the national leadership will close on October 10 and the official list to be announced on October 24. Not all nominees may wish to contest and may pull out despite receiving divisional endorsement.

Voting at all divisions will then begin over four weekends from Oct 29 to Nov 21. The results will be announced at the PKR annual summit on Nov 27-28.

Ibi Uding We Know What You Did Last Election In Year 2006

Kuching
Tuesday,14th September 2010

For Some politicians, Politic is just like Business, Taking  the Best Opportunity on the Right Time.....

Revisited Ibi Uding Campaign Trail in
Year 2006 State Election

Before the 12th General Election (GE12) Perak was a Barisan Nasional (BN) stronghold. But in GE12, Pakatan Rakyat made history in Perak by defeating Barisan Nasional by 31 to 28 Seats. But the Pakatan Rakyat victory was short-lived when the 3 lawmakers from PR deserted the alliance and declared their supports for Barisan Nasional. The three lawmakers were Hee Yit Foong the Deputy Speaker from DAP, and two senior state Executive Council member from PKR Jamaluddin Mohd. Radzi and Osman Jailu.
According to the grapevine all the three lawmakers who deserted PR were offered with substantial amount of monies, award with datukship and for Jamaluddin and Osman Jailu their corruption cases were dropped.

Pakatan Rakyat in Sarawak especially Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) should learn from Perak fiasco by paying extra attention in selecting its candidates for the coming state election. Personally I would like to advise the party not to select the candidate to represent the party in the coming state or parliamentary elections from these two categories. Firstly, the members  who join the party because they were unwanted by Barisan Nasional, and secondly, the members who join the party because they want to stand in the election.
But today I want to write about a party member just to be selected as a candidate, and later after winning the election, join BN with big offer!

Becomes Candidate For Business

Ever heard about candidates who withdrew their candidacy in the  last minutes, or who announced their supports to the opposing candidate immediately after the nomination closed?. There are many possibilities of such actions. One of the possible cause is the candidate is offered with substantial amount of monies.

One of the politician who had betrayed her voters was Ibi Uding, the current Woman Chief of  Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Sarawak . Ibi who stood in N25-Balai Ringin under Sarawak National Party (SNAP) ticket against Snowdan Lawan (BN) and Saudara Cubbold John (Ind) during the state election in year 2006, according to her campaign partners had received the offer from YB Snowdan Lawan and his father, ex-YB Donald Lawan. Even though she did not withdraw her candidacy officially, but after the meeting , she immediately discontinued her campaign. .

TR Bidi Saw Ibi  had Meeting  With YB Snowdan and his Father at PRS Operation Room at Simpang Punda and after that she stopped her campaign Program

Relating what happened on that day, one of Ibi Uding campaign team member TR Bidi (picture above) from Empili  said :

" On Sunday, 14th May *2006 at about 4.00PM, I saw Pelie ak Jumbu and Ibi Uding  meeting with YB Snowdan lawan and Donal Lawan at PRS Operation Room at Simpang Punda."

"Immediately after the meeting, Ibi Uding stopped her campaign", said TR Bidi.

Another witness who saw the meeting was  Beisy ak Ringan from Bayur.

As the meeting were between the four, there was no information on the amount of monies received by Ibi. But the reliable source to Bukittunggal said that Pelie ak Jumbu were given RM10K by Ibi.

In the election Snowdan Lawan secured 3,075 votes, Ibi Uding  1,559 votes and Saudara Cubbold  742 votes. Should Ibi did not accept Snowdan offer, and proceed with her campaign, the result of the election could be different or won by her.

If PKR want to win N25-Balai Ringin with the candidate reliable to PKR struggle, the party should not nominate Ibi as the party's candidate. Based on what happened in 2006 election, if she is chosen as a candidate, the tendency is there that she will betray the party by repeating what she had done in year 2006. For Ibi , election is just like doing business. She will accept the monies, if not during the election by withdrawing her candidacy, she will follow the actions of the three pakatan law makers in Perak.
According to reliable source both TR Bidi and Beisy were willing to give statement to PKR Disciplinary Committee if  request by the party.

Conclusion/Recommendation

As reported by the two witnesses, TR Bidi from Empili and Beisi ak Ringan from Bayur, Ibi Uding had accpted monies from YB Snowdan Lawan and Donald Lawan in the state election held in year 2006. Even though no amount of money was revealed but  the grapevine said Pelie ak Jumbu was given RM10K by Ibi.

The party should not gamble the future of  the voters in N-25 Balai Ringin by selecting Ibi Uding as their candidate in the coming state election.

The party should find a reliable and good  party members as a candidate in the coming state election for N25-Balai Ringin.

“Utter Disgust” – PKR Leader Baru Bian Speaks Out

Kuching
Thursday, 22nd July 2010

This article was published in Sarawak Report on Tuesday, July 13th 2010

One Shocking Report After Another

Sarawak’s PKR Leader Baru Bian has expressed his “utter disgust” at the extent of the foreign properties owned by the Chief Minister and his family, as revealed in a series of recent exposes by Sarawak Report. ”For us it has been shocking as we read one report after another”, he said.

The opposition leader also explained that the information, which has been kept hidden until now, has served to further highlight the “huge disparity” between the Chief Minister and ordinary people in Sarawak, who are amongst the poorest in Malaysia, despite the natural wealth of the state.

Bian, who inspected some of the properties owned by the Taibs in a recent visit to London, nevertheless fears that the billions of ringgit of assets uncovered by Sarawak Report in Canada, the USA, London and Australia are only the “tip of the iceberg” when it comes to the Taibs’ stolen wealth. His challenge to the Chief Minister is uncompromising, “Taib’s silence since the first report implies there is a strong degree of truth to these reports. There has been no response from him yet. We want a denial and if it is not true he needs to take action. If not, there is an irresistible conclusion that he is definitely the man, The Godfather, behind the source”.

Sarawak Report has made clear it has documented evidence to back up all its revelations about the Taibs’ property and that the vast majority of the information is available to members of the public online, through official registries and court documents. This evidence will be made available to bodies such as the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) on request.

Meanwhile, Baru Bian emphasises that one of the first priorities for PKR on taking power would be to gain restitution of this wealth. “This is the wealth of the people and just as restitution has been done in the Philippines and Indonesia, it must be delivered here in Sarawak”. The PKR leader also pointed out that in China, the country on which the Chief Minister is relying to support his much-criticised dam building exercise, any embezzlers from the State are harshly dealt with.

Where is the MACC?

In a final comment Bian issued a weary plea to the MACC. “All my long-held suspicions [about the Taibs' wealth] are now confirmed and it all leads to the Godfather. The MACC must take action immediately because it involves the huge wealth of the state. He cannot remain Chief Minister”. The PKR leader however acknowledged that the anti-corruption agencies have a dismal record under the present regime. “If we want to do anything about this we have to change who is in power” he said, calling for unity and focus among all opposition forces in Sarawak.

YB Mong Dagang Is Out To Cheat the Rural People Using Old Tactic

Kuching
Tuesday, 20th July 2010

Dream On YB but at the BeeNd,  it is Vote that Counts!

''Those of Us Living in Rural Areas Know that We Still Lag in Terms of Infrastructure development''..Admits YB Mong Dagang. He further advised the rural people to vote for barisan Nasional for continous Development!

For most of us the dayaks, the above speech by Barisan Nasional (BN ) leader sound familiar. BN leaders have been using the same script to fish for Iban's vote for the past 50 years. BN has been ruling Sarawak since it joining Malaysia in 1963. After almost 50 years the coalition still fail to develop Sarawak and provides its people with basic amenities like road, electricity and cleaned water. Based on the statistic about 90 percents of the Iban's longhouses throughout Sarawak still without the above basic amenities.

YB Mong Dagang who is the YB for Bukit Begunan when speaking at the "Ngiling Tikai" or Closing of Gawai Dayak at Rh Igoh Atut longhouse at Selanjan Angkong Jalong near Sri Aman admits that Iban (rural areas) are still lagging in term of  Infrastructure compared to the town area, as such he said the Iban should remain supporting BN because only BN can develop the rural people.

The Iban must be very stupid or in Iban we call stupid as "beli(k), tambab and lungau, if we still give chance for BN to rule us. Just imagine, after 50 years under BN's rule only  about 10 percents of the longhouses throught out Sarawak have been provided with the bacic amenities. Just imagine how long does it take for BN to develop another 90 percents of the longhouses throught out Sarawak?
Considering the past performance of  "BN's Politic of Development" , they need another 450 years to develop another 90 percents of the longhouses throughout Sarawak. Can we afford to wait for another 450 years and gamble our future generations on Barisan Nasional?
I dont want to be fooled or neither I want to see the Ibans being fooled or " dikemeli(k), kelesei or dikemuntat"  by BN therefore I am urging YB Mong and the rest of the Iban politicians from BN NOT TO USE the same old song to fish for votes from the Ibans. BN can CHEATS  us for THE PAST 50 YEARS but not now. And not to forget that the BN politicians may RELAX and feel confident with the  result of the survey by Merdeka Centre's ,  but remember  at the end only VOTE THAT COUNTS.
To all the Ibans especially those who are living in town area, please inform and persuade our people who live in the rural, NOT TO VOTE FOR BARISAN NASIONAL in the coming state election.

The Impacts of PM Najib 1Malaysia Price Hike to The Longhouse People

Kampong Empaling (N25-Balai Ringin)
Saturday, 17th July 2010

We will teach BN a lesson when come to election!

PEOPLE OF KAMPONG EMPALING NOT HAPPY WITH GOVERNMENT OVER  INCREASE  OF THE PRICE OF THE  SUGAR AND PETROL.

Eventhought the journey to my hometown cost me more this time but as  usual I still went back to see my family and relatives in  the longhouse located in N25- Balai Ringin.
Due to my other commitment in Kuching, I did not spend  an overnight in the longhouse like what I normally did in the past.
This time round, my short stayed  in the longhouse had been used to gauge their understanding and their  opinion on the price hike on sugar, cooking gas, Ron 95, Ron 97, and diesel which was just announced by PM Najib. The scope of my questions were more to their opinion and how the price hike will effect their day-to day life in the longhouse. These were what they said:-

The government should not increase the price of the goods drastically without proper planning to cushion its impact to the rural people who have no stable income!

1) TR Ngulu expressed his disatisfaction with PM Najib administration over the announcement. According to him, this price hike will burden the people in the longhouse who have no stable income . He added the people in the urban area who have stable income may not feel the burden asw the do. He hope that PM Najib will find way so that the price hike will not burden the people especially those under him.

"Probably we should try to vote for PKR"

2) Also met in the longhouse was Encik  Dugas,  one of  the few  elder in the longhouse.
"I am so upset with PM Najib decision to hike the price of goods especially the sugar and LPG gas. How are we going to live and cushion this hike" he said.
He added "may be we should teach BN the lesson by throw our support to Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR)"

Willing to Campaign For PKR for free to oust BN Government

3) Also met  in the longhouse was an ex-army who has been living in the longhouse since year 2008. Pbt (Rtd) Storey informed Bukit Tunggal that the price hike will effect them miserably.
"This BN government is collecting money from the people to be given to their cronies. I am not sure either  how are they going to spend the monies that they collect from this price hike. I am not too sure either the monies will benefit us Sarawakian. In this coming election, I am willing to campaign for PKR for free, as long as the current government (BN) is replaced" said Storey.

Is this 1Malaysia?

4) Andrew Luna, the ex-Sarawak Forest Department employee, said " Is this the real meaning of 1Malaysia as introduced by Najib?"..

The people of Kampong Empaling in the past was a strong supporter of BN. In the  previous election, nearly 98 percents of the people voted for BN. But this price hike announced by Najib last Thursday can change their supports toward BN. Eventhought the Survey by Merdeka Centre showed that about 88 % of the respondents in Sarawak still supporting BN and the rest for Pakatan Rakyat,  but with this latest development, I am not surprise if another survey is done, the support of the people will swing to Pakatan Rakyat.
As we all know that the state election shall be held by July 2011, could the price hike  be part of Najib strategy to get rid of Tok Uban?
