Zaki Watch-Out Your Stinking Mouth : Politically the Dayak are Stupid But Not In Intelligence

Saturday, 1st September 2012

Kuantan, Pahang

His Stupidity Prevails

The first time when I read the article in Free Malaysia Today, just like the rest of my people, his statement did anger me. I would be alright for me  if the statement came from the stupid fellows like Ibrahim Ali or the racist ex-PM because they were both indeed already been  known as racist. But the statement came from the chairman of the Special Review Commission on Civil Service Transformation the person who is supposed to be more intelligent and not biased.

I attached below the article published in Free Malaysia Today, for everyone to read. If you like the article please leave your comments.

Dayak leaders including those from the Barisan Nasional and the opposition are up in arms against a proposal to lower the requirements for ethnic minority groups to enter the civil service. Some even described the recommendation as an insult and mockery to the Dayak community. The focus of their indignation was directed at Zaki Azmi, the chairman of the Special Review Commission on Civil Service Transformation. On Tuesday, Zaki said that the commission would recommend to the government to lower the qualification requirements for the Dayaks and other non-Malay natives not only to enable them to be recruited to the civil service, but also to address the imbalance of racial composition within the civil service.

Fighting for the Dayaks or For Their Votes

The first to fire the salvo was the president of Parti Rakyat Sarawak and Land Development Minister James Masing. He said he did not agree that the quality of the civil service should be compromised by the lowering of entry criteria for ethnic minority groups. He said that there were enough qualified people from the minority groups who could be roped in to serve in the civil service. “Lowering the standard for the sake of the Dayaks is not good. I oppose such a move. But if the main criterion for civil service requirement is merit, then we have enough Dayaks who are qualified to be recruited,” he said. Masing pointed out that no encouragement was needed to attract more Dayaks into the civil service as long as recruitment and promotion were done purely on meritocracy.

Even an NGO, the Miri branch of Orang Ulu Association, opposed the proposal. Its chief Peter Kallang described Zaki’s move as a “mockery and insult” as if there were too few Dayaks qualified to take up jobs in the civil service. “We have many qualified Dayaks working all over the world, with some even employed in international companies. What do you mean we are not qualified?” he asked. Kallang pointed out that there were two reasons why so few Dayaks are in the civil service and these had nothing to do with qualifications. “One, almost all of the top civil servants are from a single ethnic group. “And two, without a set of transparent and unambiguous criteria based on merits, promotions are inevitably subject to the personal judgment of those who do the recruitment and promotion. “The tendency to choose and promote would thus be in favour of those who share a common background with the recruiters, for example, ethnicity, religion, hometown and so on. “Thus, this boils down to discrimination,” he said. Dayaks are dedicated Kallang also said that as far as Dayaks are concerned, once they realised that the majority of civil servants were from a particular racial group, they preferred to be in the private sector “where they may not have to struggle with the hurdle of dealing with discrimination due to ethnicity, religion, and hometown”.

The Piasau division Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) Youth chief James Joshua also expressed similar feelings. He said that Dayaks were dedicated, hardworking and capable as evident by their excellent services in the military.

Baru Bian...The Real Dayak Leader

Sarawak PKR chief Baru Bian said that he could not help but feel indignant and annoyed at Zaki’s statement. “Any reasonable person reading that statement would take it to mean that the ethnic groups of Sabah and Sarawak do not have the intelligence and qualifications to join the esteemed civil service and are somewhat deficient because of that. “I wish to ask the commission chairman [Zaki] to produce statistics to justify his stand. Can we please see the civil service racial parity statistics for last three decades? “It is too simplistic to assume that the percentage of ethnic people in the civil service is low because they do not meet the requirements,” he said. “If the Special Review Commission is really sincere about wanting to correct the imbalance, let them look at the problem squarely in the face and call it what it is,”

Bian said. He also asked the commission why is that so many civil servants and heads of most federal agencies and services in Sarawak were from Peninsular Malaysia. “We do not have the exact figures on the number of directors in the civil service. Deputy Chief Minister [Alfred Jabu Anak Numpang] skirted the issue when he was asked about it during the last State Legislative Assembly sitting for a percentage breakdown of ethnic groups who hold ‘director’ posts in the civil service departments. “He informed the state assembly that Bumiputeras held 88% and non-Bumiputeras held 12% of the director posts and that there are 100 ‘Anak Sarawak’ holding posts as department chiefs in the Sarawak civil service.

“What we want to know is how many of the 88% Bumiputeras holding director posts are Sarawakians. Although it is nice to know that there are 100 ‘Anak Sarawak’ department chiefs, that is not what we want to know. Anyway, that figure seen in isolation does not mean anything to us. “What is the figure as a percentage of the total number of department chief posts available in Sarawak? “What is the rationale of sending civil servants from Peninsular Malaysia to fill positions which Sarawakians are perfectly capable of filling?” he asked, pointing out that most of those transferred are unhappy about being sent to Sarawak. Election ploy?

Bian also said Sarawak is considered a “hardship” posting, and to compensate those who were transferred there, the government has to spend extra to pay them “hardship” allowances. “Similarly, Sarawakian civil servants do not want to be posted away from their hometowns to the Peninsula. “I believe that civil servants will be more motivated and committed to their jobs if they are serving in their home states. “This is not to say that we are against integration between Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak; our main concern is that the director posts in all government departments should be held by Sarawakians,” Bian said.

He added that it was now imperative that the federal government give “immediate effect” to the “Borneonisation” of the civil service. This is so that Sarawakians can play a direct role in the administration of their home state as was envisaged by the leaders who insisted on the 18-Point Agreement before agreeing to join in the formation of Malaysia. Questioning the motive of the commission in raising the issue, Bian said: “Lack of qualification is not a factor.

“It makes me wonder whether the ‘magnanimous’ gesture of the commission so close to the election is yet another election gimmick. “To truly effect a change in the public service requires moral fortitude and resolute commitment, which I hope the Special Review Commission and Public Services Commission possess in plentiful supply.

“However, judging from this initial recommendation, I have my doubts. “Please do not condescend to the Dayaks by offering this special concession, which purports to address a non-existent issue. “Besides being a gross insult to the Dayaks, it most definitely does not offer a solution to the real cause of the poor representation of ethnic minority groups in the civil service. “The people recognise a whitewash when they see one,” Bian added.

I Could Not Find Any Reason Why Veteran Iban Leaders Like Jabu, Mawan and Masing Should Stay

Sunday, 26th August 2012
Kuantan, Pahang

Compare to Pahang, Sarawak has so much natural resources and other resources that can generate money that can benefits the rakyat, but the people in Pahang enjoy more developments than the people of Sarawak.

Let's Get Rid Of These Useless Leaders in The Coming GE

After working in this capital state of Pahang for almost 6 months, I start to wonder, why despite it richer than Pahang in term of natural resources, but why there were not much development being felt by the Sarawakian. After making some studies through observations and my encounter with some Pahangians, I concluded, the developments did not reach the majority of Sarawakians particularly the Ibans, because they are being led by the leaders whose mind was only to fill their own pockets first, and to change the livelihood of the people the last.

Being Iban myself, I put the blame on these three leaders who have been representing the Iban community for decades, namely Jabu, Masing and Mawan. For me these three leaders are only good at begging for votes from the Iban community in order to to win in the election. So far they had not dared to fight for their communities be it on economic, social and the education matters.

Jabu is popular for his speech in blaming the Iban for their drinking and gambling habits but he himself had been known to spend tens of thousand of Ringgits on liquor during the Gawai Hantu festival (or the Festival of the Ghosts). He also popularly known  in introducing the non-productive projects to the Iban,  for example the project Ikan Terubok, Projeck Kepayang and so forth ( I could provide failed-projects by Jabu here otherwise my posting will be too long. Alternatively readers can check this with the Iban in Betong and Sri Aman area who will be able to explain in detail). Other than being known with the failed-projects, Jabu and his family also very popular with robbing the Iban of their NCR lands. If one want to know in detail about Jabu family involvement in robbing the Iban of their NCR lands, one can always  check it  with the Land and Survey Department of Sarawak. Other than that, Sarawak Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority (SALCRA) will be able to provide the data on the size of lands under the name of Empiang Jabu in their record.

The next useless Iban leader is William Mawan. Mawan is frrom Pakan , one of the poorest and the less developed area in Sarawak. Not much information  on his weakness that Bukit Tunggal.com can provide on him but sufficed to say that he is good at increasing the collections of  his girl friends.

Masing the President of Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) the offshoot of Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS), an another BN component party that represents the Iban. Personally I look at this minister as a leader who only knows on  how to play "the game blame" but zero contribution to the Iban. In the era of PBDS, he was one of the Iban leaders which every Iban had thought that will fight and will be able to uplift the living standard of the Iban. But after PBDS joined BN, he had became the  another useless Iban leaders who only knows how to fill his own pocket.

Politically, the  Dayak or Iban since Sarawak Independence in 1963 had been very loyal, and majority of them voted for Barisan Nasional (BN) or popularly known as "perintah" by them. Despite of their loyalty, the Iban  had been cheated and promised with empty promise for development by the BN leaders . But after 49 years under BN, not much developments have reached them. And If the people of Sarawak or particularly the Iban want to have more developments to reach them, they should consider giving the Pakatan Rakyat a chance to rule Petra Jaya and Putra Jaya. This is only possible if the people of Sarawak or Iban changing their supports toward the Pakatan Rakyat in the coming general election (GE 13 ).

Rahsia Talam Dua Muka Pemuda UMNO Terbongkar

Selasa, 21 Ogos 2012
Kuantan, Pahang

Two Of Taib's Ministers Rob Natives Of Their NCR Lands In Melikin Balai Ringin

Monday, 20th Aug 2012
From Kuantan

Yesterday was considered the end of my incubation period from doing something that I like most that is to expose what the BN Government has done to the native of Sarawak. Being miles away from Sarawak, my only sources were from the teleconversation  that I had with friends and relatives in Sarawak and other reliable sources such as the report  from  the Sarawak Report,  the Borneo Post and the rest of Political Blogs belonging to the Dayaks.

These are the Top Two Ministers in Taib's Cabinet that actively robbing the natives of their NCR Lands

To start with, I would like to write about the robbing of the NCR Lands in Melikin by the two BN's YBs under the eyes of YB Snowdan Lawan and the knowledge of the MACC (Shall I call this commission as Ministry Assisting Corruption Commission ?). There are three main reasons why I chose this subject for my writing today. First because it involves the robbing of NCR lands, second because the YB that had been voted and supposed to help the rakyat did not do anything and Thirdly because the Robbers were assisted by the Police and the MACC allowed the crime to be committed under their full knowledge.

Melikin Where Five Natives  Were Being Detained and Accused  For Arson and Assault By The Police

The Native Lands Being Robbed By A Company Belong to Awang Tengah and Noroden

Not Only Their Land Being Robbed But the Trees Also Robbed By Noroden and Awang Tengah

Noroden and Awang Tengah Plantation Area!

Their Ancestral Grave Will Be Bulldozed By Noroden and Awang Tengah Company to Give Way For Oil Palm Plantations

About last week, five NCR land owners from Melikin Balai Ringin  were detained by the police for defending their lands against being robbed by the company United Teamtrade Sdn Bhd which was belong to Noroden Majais and Awang Tengah. They accused of arson and assault. This is not the first case that the police being used by the politician to harass the land owner in Sarawak. End of last year, few land owners in Tekuyong-Ubah were also detained by the police. The people are wonder now a days wether the police are working for the people or the land robbers. What make the matter worse, YB Snowdan Lawan aware about what had happened but could not do anything about it.

Their Elected YB Who Only Interested  With Playing Guitar Had Failed to Defend their Most Valuable Asset From Awang Tengah and Norodem. Kick Him Out in the Coming Election!

Awang Tengah and Noroden are not from a rich families but if one look at their houses today, one will never believe that they both came from poor families. But why cant the MACC take action against them? What type of evidences do they still needed? Are they waiting until those politicians are no longer in power. Being the citizen of Sarawak, I urge the MACC to take action immediately.

The Two Houses Above Are Belong to The Two NCR Land Robbers In Sarawak! Come  On MACC even a Primary 5 student also knows  That  the Corruption Is Taking   Place!

To all the people of Sarawak especially the dayak who had been badly affected by the NCR land robberies by the BN politicians, I hereby urge you all to  vote them out in the coming election.

Selamat Hari Raya to All Muslims From Sarawak - Sarawakian doesn't Need 1Malaysia Slogan. Keep it for the People Of Peninsular Malaysia

Sunday, 19th August 2012
Kuantan, Pahang

1Malaysia Campaign or Slogan Is Only Required In Peninsular Malaysia.   Today is the 1st day of Hari Raya which is celebrated by Malaysians of the Muslim faith. It also marked my five months and three days of been working in the Peninsular Malaysia (or Malaysia) how some of the people here say it. The last time  that I worked in Peninsular Malaysia was in 1995. But the life in the Army Camp and outside it was totally different I guessed. In the camp, the spirit of brotherhood or "espirit de corp" among the soldiers was very strong . Malay, Chinese(few only), Indian and the Iban by then had no problem to visit each other during the religion festivals such as the CNY, Deepavali, Christmas, Hari gawai Dayak and the Hari Raya, or having the pot luck in the Officer Mess or the Senior Non-Commission Offices (SNCO) Mess. But  today, based on what I saw with my own eyes, I don't think the same social activities are still  being practiced in the camp. In the Peninsular nowadays, among Malaysian of different races, the Malay, Chinese and the Indian, the trust does not exists anymore. Try to talk to the taxi drivers, they will tell you about the racial divided or differences in Peninsular. Or if one working in a multinational company one will see that colleagues from the Malay race only mixed with the Malay, same goes to the workers of the  Indian and Chinese races who are only comfortable to mix with their  colleagues from the same race.
The relationship between these three groups had been divided by the religions. In Peninsular Malaysia, particularly in Kuantan,  you can't find any  eating place that sell Halal and Non-halal food under the same roof. Therefore it is impossible for the Malay who likes curry, the Chinese who likes pork and the Indian who likes the Indian Food (i.e Roti Canai, Nasi Beriani) to eat outside together.
But this problem does not exist in Sarawak. In Sarawak, the Malay, Iban and the Chinese colleagues can go for lunch together and still able to eat their favorite foods as there are plenty of eating outlets that sell halal and non-halal foods under the sames roof. But does it mean that the Muslims from Sarawak  are less Islamic than the Muslims from Peninsular Malaysia? The Mufti of  Perlis Dr Juandah is from Sarawak. This proven that the Muslims from Sarawak as Islamic or as devout as the Muslims from Peninsular Malaysia isn't it?

Talking about 1Malaysia slogan, I do agree with the implementation of the slogan but with one condition, that it is only to be implemented in Peninsular Malaysia. Sarawak doesn't need the slogan. Using the slogan in Sarawak can  confuse the population there whose relationship among different races/religions are the best among all the other states in Malaysia.

For conclusion (first in 6 months), I would Like to wish my Muslims friends from Sarawak A "Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir dan Batin "

Bukittunggal Predicts BN Will Lose in GE13

Kuantan Tuesday, 12th June 2012 If we read in the newspapers and TV Channels belong to BN such as Utusan Malaysia, Berita Harian, the Stars and all the other newspapers or the TV channels one may think that BN will win with bigger majority in the coming general election (GE13).As ussual those mass media have been campaigning for BN to fool the people especially the voters in Sabah and Sarawak who have limited access to the more accurate reporting from the blogs and the other independents electronic news such as Malaysiakini, www.Bukittunggal.com, Malaysian Insider and so forth. Since migrated to one of the state in Peninsular last March until now I have been talking to people from all walk of life. Based on these encounters , it is obvious that BN will lose in the coming GE. There are few factors which can cause BN to lose in GE13. These factors are the Lynas issue, the declining of support from the Chinese and the Indian communities for BN. The Lynas issue, eventhough the government is playing the tug of war on the issues but people are awared that the project will be approved eventually considering the amount of money that had already been spent and also due the involvement of certain BN politicians in the project. Lynas factor will cause BN to lose Pahang state. Talking about Lynas eventhough the government had promised to handle the radioactive waste properly but it still fails to convince the people in Kuantan that the site is safe. Another factor is the declining of support by the Chinese and Indian voters toward BN. BN rethoric for using PERKASA and other NGOs such as the Veteran Tarian Buntut (shame on you) and etc to protest against the opposition party (pakatan Rakyat ) has angered the Chinese and Indian voters. The above theory is further supported by the outcome of the survey conducted by the Meredeka Review. The survey found that the Chinese and Indian voters support for Najib has been declining since BERSIH 3.0 PM Najib may fool the people in Sarawak but not those from Peninsular! I am consider few people who would like BN to lose the election therefore would like to urge the voters in Malaysia particularly the voters in Sabah and Sarawak to vote wisely in the coming state election. Please remember that we had been fooled by BN for more than 50 years. Do not get fooled by the BN for another 5 years.....PLEASE VOTE BN OUT! Mupok Aku

NFCorp Scandal : Sharizat Husband Asked businessman Shamsubahrin Ismail to Cheat The Investigating Officer

Kuching
Monday, 30th Jan 2012

NFCorp Scandal is one of many projects how political cronies "legally" siphone-off the people's monies

After more than 2 months in the "hiding", today I would like to post something in this blog. The topic being chosen is about the scandal involving the UMNO's Wanita Chief Sharizat Jalil the "NFCorp Scandal. The subject is chosen because I felt the monies involved could benefits thousand of people in the longhlouses who are in dire need of basic amenities such as electricity and road if the monies were allocated for the purpose.
The article was first published in Free Malaysia Today. Bukittunggal.com would like to thanks FMT for the article.

National Feedlot Corporation (NFCorp) chairman Mohamad Salleh Ismail had repeatedly asked businessman Shamsubahrin Ismail to help the former bribe police investigators to close the case on NFCorp, but the latter was reluctant to do so.
This was stated in a police report by Shamsubahrin which was lodged last Friday, a copy of which was produced by PKR leaders at a press conference here today.
On Dec 30, Shamsubahrin, 45, was charged with two counts of cheating Mohamad Salleh of more than RM17 million for “negotiation and consultation services”.
Mohamad Salleh is the husband of Women, Family and Community Development Minister Shahrizat Abdul Jalil.
Last Friday, Shamsubahrin was also charged, while he was warded at the Klang Hospital for treatment of clogged arteries and diabetes, with two separate counts of cheating not related to the NFCorp.
One was for cheating a taxi driver of RM90,000 to invest in a non-existent company and the other for cheating a woman of RM13,000 as service to obtain maids.
PKR vice-president N Surendran and Latheefa Koya are now representing Shamsubahrin as lawyers.
Surendran said that Shamsubahrin, after he was charged on Friday, lodged the report against Mohamad Salleh, claiming that he has been used as a “scapegoat to save Mohamad, his wife Shahrizat and NFCorp’s reputation”.
False Appointment
Shamsubahrin claimed that the investigations against him and the charges he is facing are “politically motivated” as they are without basis.
“I am making a report against Mohamad Salleh for cheating me by appointing me as a ‘corporate adviser and consultant’ for NFCorp on Nov 24, 2011 and Nov 28, 2011, but at the same time had made me to believe that the appointment was true and genuine and sincere,” Shamsubahrin stated in the report.
“However, it was actually a false appointment and I was made a scapegoat in the NFCorp scandal,” wrote Shamsubahrin.
He also said that after his appointment, he had started taking steps to “clean up the problems within the NFCorp”.
“I had suggested a ‘blueprint’ to show and explain the business processes of NFCorp and Mohamad Salleh instructed me to speak to the police about the investigations on NFCorp. I was told to explain about the business process,” said Shamsubahrin.

He added that he then dilligently met with the the police several times together with Mohamad Salleh to talk about the process of purchasing cows and so on.
“However, I had received instruction and pressure to close the NFCorp case with the police… Mohamad Salleh had, by SMSes and phone, asked me to bribe the police,” said Shamsubahrin, who claimed he has proof of the conversation.
He claimed that he was reluctant to do so but simply told Mohamad Salleh that he would try to help settle the matter.
“Then I was charged with cheating Mohamad Salleh. That’s not true at all because the RM1.755 million which was paid in stages was for my consultation services.”
Real culprit
Meanwhile, Surendran said the police report was lodged only when Shamsubahrin’s lawyers obtained a court order to allow him to do so on Friday.
“His claims are backed up by SMSes and other evidence and records. What do they (NFCorp) have to say about this now? We are highlighting the abuse of power by the authorities: for failing to bring charges against the right person and trying all means to silence one who is now being made a scapegoat,” said Surendran.
He said his client wants to tell the whole country what really happened but now also “fears for his safety”.
“They are going all out against him: intimidating and silencing him when the real culprit is walking free. NFCorp itself wants to close the case,” said Surendran, who claimed to have seen the SMS messages implicating Mohamad Salleh.
Surendran asked why there was “strangely” no action from the police and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) when they had the SMS evidence with them all this while.
Meanwhile, a NFCorp spokesman said that the corporation was studying Shamsubahrin’s report and would need some time to reply.
The NFCorp issue came to light in October last year after the 2010 Auditor-General’s Report revealed that the RM250-million cattle breeding project had failed to fulfil the objectives of its formation, which was to reduce beef imports.
It has been widely quoted that the report called the project a “mess” due to mismanagement. However, following NFCorp’s recent protest over the use of the term, the A-G has clarified that it has not used the term “mess” in its report but reiterated that the project was mismanaged.
While Mohamad Salleh heads the NFCorp, his three children are directors in the company.
Opposition parties, particularly PKR, then began a series of documented exposé linking Shahrizat to allegations of abusing state funds meant for the project.
The party claimed that at least RM27 million was used to purchase high-class condominiums, premium land and a luxury car as well as expenses unrelated to cattle farming by Shahrizat and her family.
PKR also recently alleged that Shahrizat’s family had used nearly RM600,000 from NFCorp’s funds to settle their credit card bills in 2009.
NFCorp has for the past month been aggressively denying the allegations, regularly issuing press statements to counter what the company claims are “misleading” allegations.
On Jan 14, Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak announced that NFCorp’s assets have been frozen pending various concurrent investigations, including the MACC and the police.
Police are investigating if NFCorp had committed criminal breach of trust, and the MACC, too, is looking into the possibility of “abuse of power” in the corporation.
It was reported that their probes are at its end stages.
Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin announced last week that the government would appoint an auditor to scrutinise NFCorp’s books.
Shahrizat will return to her ministerial duties on Feb 6 after taking three weeks’ leave to facilitate MACC and police investigations into her possible involvement in the NFCorp case.
Shahrizat has tried to deflect attention by stating she is “only the wife” of the national cattle farming project’s chairman and has nothing to do with the NFCorp.
PKR strategic director Rafizi Ramli and its Wanita chief Zuraida Kamaruddin, who made a number of allegations, have been sued by Shahrizat over the claims of corruption.

Court Ordered Utusan Malaysian To Pay Guan Eng RM 200K For Defamation

Kuching
Thursday, 15th Dec 2011

Court Ordered Utusan Malaysia to pay LGE RM200,000 in damages and RM25,000 in costs.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 14 — The High Court today foundUtusan Malaysiaguilty of making “malicious”, defamatory and untruthful statements against Lim Guan Eng, and ordered the Umno daily to pay him RM200,000 in damages and RM25,000 in costs.
Utusan Malaysia Had Made LGE RM 200K Richer!

Justice G.V Varughese, in an hour-long judgment delivered in Penang, outlined seven paragraphs in an Utusan article titled “Kebiadapan Guan Eng” in which the paper had “maliciously defamed Lim (picture above), and made him and the DAP look as if they are anti-Malay and anti-Islam.”
“The judge ruled that the defendant showed selective vendetta against DAP and the plaintiff,” Lim’s lawyer Jagdeep Singh Deo told The Malaysian Insider
“The ruling stated that Utusan had shown disdain for the highest standards of responsible journalism,” added Jagdeep.
The lawyer said, among other things, the article had accused the Penang chief minister of “attacking Malay institutions, being racist, being opposed to Malays, demolishing Malay stalls and villages, and cancelling the state’s Maulidur Rasul celebration.”
“The learned judge, after listening to witnesses brought in by both sides, ruled that Utusan’s allegations were malicious and not factually true,” added Jagdeep.
Lim, who is also Bagan MP and Air Putih assemblyman, filed a suit against Utusan for publishing allegedly defamatory words in the article.
In his statement of claim, the Penang CM said the words used, among others, were meant to portray him as a racist who objected to anything related to Malays.
In an immediate response, Lim said that Utusan should take heed of this incident and avoid slanderous reporting in the future.
