 Najib Mungkin Gunakan Ajensi Kerajaan Untuk Menidakkan DSAI Menjadi PM. Jangan salahkan Ajensi Kerajaan di dalam kes-kes terpilih kerana kuasa sebenar yang membuat keputusan "Decision Maker" adalah PM Najib. Begitu juga dengan kes di bawah ini.

 PETALING JAYA: PKR menyifatkan rayuan terhadap pembebasan Ketua Pembangkang Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim dalam kes liwat 2 yang dibuat 7 September lalu di Mahkamah Rayuan Kuala Lumpur sebagi zalim dan suatu jenayah. Naib Presiden N Surendran yang juga seorang peguam berkata, rayuan ini tidak didokong secara perundangan melainkan ia merupakan suatu tindakan politik jahat yang benar-benar tulen oleh Perdana Menteri Najib Tun Razak dan Umno-Barisan Nasional (BN). “Bercanggah dengan tugas untuk berlaku adil, Peguam Negara Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail meneruskan rayuan yang tidak berasas ini, semata-mata untuk berkhidmat kepada tuan-tuan politik Umno-BN tadi,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan media hari ini. Menurut beliau, keseluruhan kes liwat 2 adalah rekaan ganas yang diada-adakan dan jenayah yang diatur oleh Umno-BN, dengan kerjasama kepimpinan tertinggi polis. “Hal ini telah mendapat kecaman dari seluruh dunia oleh negara-negara, pertubuhan serta tokoh-tokoh terkemuka,” terangnya. Tegas Surendran, “konspirasi jenayah ini sentiasa bertujuan untuk menamatkan perjuangan panjang Anwar untuk Reformasi dan menghalang Pakatan Rakyat daripada mengambil alih kuasa kerajaan persekutuan. “Usaha tidak henti-henti kes liwat 2 terhadap Anwar mendedahkan sifat Najib yang tidak bertanggungjawab, tidak berakhlak dan zalim. “Meskipun berpura-pura melibatkan diri dalam politik demokratik, Najib bukannya terlibat dalam perdebatan politik bertamadun. Bahkan, Najib tanpa malu meneruskan tradisi jenayah Umno-BN yang menganiaya dan memenjara lawan politik. “Walaupun berpura-pura menjuarai pendemokrasian, Najib terus mempengaruhi dan memesongkan proses undang-undang dalam usaha untuk memenjarakan ketua pembangkang parlimen itu. Menurut beliau, dengan berbuat demikian, Najib menuruti jejak langkah sejarah pemerintah zalim seperti Stalin dan Mubarak, yang turut menggunakan sistem perundangan negara untuk memusnahkan lawan-lawan politik mereka. “Kami menyeru Najib, Umno-BN dan Peguam Negara untuk menarik balik rayuan liwat 2 dengan serta-merta serta menghentikan kelakuan jenayah dalam memanipulasikan sistem perundangan terhadap pembangkang untuk selama-lamanya,” tegas   Surendran.

Begitu juga jangan salahkan PDRM sekiranya melakukan tindakan yang nampak tidak adil seperti kes menggari warganegara yang memijak gambar orang yang mereka tidak suka (PM Najib dan Rosmah) serta tidak menggari Tun Liong Sik yang disyaki melakukan kes yang  lebih berat kerana mereka dipengaruhi PM Najib.

French Lawyer Detention:Police and Immigration Department Have Been Used To Protect Najib

This country is in a mess. Taib has frequently used the Immigration Department to protect his political survival from his political rivals from Semenanjung. Any politicians from Semenanjung against him will be stopped at KLIA and deported to Semenanjung. But this is not only happen in Sarawak. In Kuala Lumpur International Airport, French Lawyer William Bourdon and his wife who work for SUHAKAM have been detained. WB was on his way to Malaysia to expose corruption practice in the purchased of French Sub-marine the Scorpene which many believed involving Najib Alantuya.

William Bourdon will be deported tonight after being detained for more than four hours by immigration and police officials at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

Bourdon has been served the deportation order and he will be leaving Kuala Lumpur at 11.30pm along with his wife Lea Forestier to Paris.

Bourdon, in a brief statement, said that the Malaysian police had ordered him to leave the country as soon as possible.

He said when he explained that his return ticket to Paris was only on Sunday, he was told that he would be detained until then.

“We have decided to find the earliest return flight possible at our own costs. I don’t understand this decision as no explanation has been given to me so far,” he added in his hand-written note (photo, below).

“I hereby declare that I have acted as the lawyer for Suaram in full respect of my duties and rules and in perfect compliance with national and international laws.

“I consider that this deportation decision is a breach in the right to freely exercise my profession as a lawyer,” he said.

Bourdon had arrived here from Penang, where he spoke at an event organised by rights group Suaram regarding the controversial Scorpene submarine deal. He was scheduled to give another speech tonight in Petaling Jaya on the submarine scandal, followed by another in Ipoh tomorrow.

But when his Malaysia Airlines flight landed at 11.40am, three immigration officials came on board to escort him off the aircraft. Bourdon was taken to the holding centre where he was questioned for four hours.

Suaram executive director, Cynthia Gabriel, who is at the KLIA, told FMT that she managed to speak to Bourdon and that he was being held in the Immigration Enforcement Division.

“The officials asked him to sign deportation papers in Bahasa Malaysia and of course he refused,” she said. “The French Embassy officials are currently in negotiations with the immigration officials. But the Bourdons are definitely going back to France tonight.”

Meanwhile Fadiah Nadwa Fikri from Lawyers for Liberty (LFL) said that Forestier was released earlier and that she was on her way to the division where Bourdon is being held.

“He has been denied access to lawyers which is ridiculously absurd. And none of the officials have issued any statement on the grounds for his detention.”

According to Fadiah, Forestier was “very shocked and upset over the arbitrariness of situation.”

“Only other experience of William and I denied entry was Tunisia under BenAli… there was a banana republic!,” Forestier was reported to have said, according to tweets from local activists.

The authorities also failed to acknowledge the fact that Bourdon was Suaram’s lawyer on the submarine case and that his deporation would be a breach of his right to perform his duty as a lawyer.

Subang MP Sivarasa Rasiah, and Batu MP Tian Chua, are also at KLIA but their attempts to meet with Bourdon have been denied.

The submarine deal

In June 2002, the Malaysian government signed an agreement with French DCNS and Spainish Navantia for the procurement of two Scorpene class submarines.

The procurement contract was through direct negotiation with the manufacturing companies, said to be with the service of Perimekar Sdn Bhd, linked to academic Abdul Razak Baginda.

The Scorpene issue had been mired in controversy with allegations of kickbacks and linked to the murder of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Razak, a close aide of Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak, was charged with abetting the murder but was later acquitted.

The controversy had even forced Najib to swear on the Quran to clear his name.

The French authorities are currently probing the deal.

In December 2009, Suaram filed a complaint with the French courts asking for access to information regarding government contracts signed with Perimekar and other information classified as official secrets in Malaysia.

In April 2010, the French courts accepted the request to investigate the claim of corruption for a payment amounting to 114 million euros from DCNS to Perimekar.

Najib Chased Out Of The Longhouse and Raja Petra Desprade Moves

PM Najib must now realised that not all longhouse folks are stupid and can be manipulated. Semenanjung Politicians who used public fund for campaign should leave Sarawak.

The report that We had just recieved from the ground says that Najib and his entourage was chased out of Bukit Saban Longhouse, outside Kuching.
Another report also says that in a Longhouse the villagers wrestled with two of Najib's bodyguards when one of them took out a pistol to frighten the aggressive and hostile crowd.

Some reporters took pictures of the incident.

Another report that we recieved from the same source was about the postal votes. based on the report about 60 % of the Army and Police votes went to the Oppositions.

Based on these reports, we can conclude that the BN rules in Sarawak is about to end. With the demise of BN rule in Sarawak, Taib Mahmud may soon follow the footsteps of Hosni Mubarak being charge in court for corruptions and abuse of power.

RM543 million commission - Will the submarine finally surface in France?

A potentially explosive scandal in Malaysia over the billion-dollar purchase of French submarines, a deal engineered by then-defence minister Najib Razak, has broken out of the domestic arena with the filing of a request to investigate bribery and kickbacks from the deal in a Paris court.

Although the case has been contained for eight years in the cozy confines of Malaysia's courts and parliament, which are dominated by the ruling BN, French lawyers William Bourdon, Renaud Semerdjian and Joseph Breham put an end to that when they filed it with Parisian prosecutors on behalf of the Malaysian human rights organisation Suaram, which supports good-government causes.

Judges in the Paris Prosecution Office have been probing a wide range of corruption charges involving similar submarine sales and the possibility of bribery and kickbacks to top officials in France, Pakistan and other countries. The Malaysian piece of the puzzle was added in two filings, on Dec 4, 2009 and Feb 23 this year. For two years, Parisian prosecutors, led by investigating judges Francoise Besset and Jean-Christophe Hullin, have been gingerly investigating allegations involving senior French political figures and the sales of submarines and other weaponry to governments all over the world. French news reports have said the prosecutors have backed away from some of the most serious charges out of concern for the political fallout.

The allegations relate to one of France's biggest defense conglomerates, the state-owned shipbuilder DCN, which merged with the French electronics company Thales in 2005 to become a dominant force in the European defense industry. DCN's subsidiary Armaris is the manufacturer of Scorpene-class diesel submarines sold to India, Pakistan and Malaysia among other countries. All of the contracts, according to the lawyers acting for Suaram are said to be suspect. Bribery allegations With Najib having moved on from the defence portfolio he held when the deal was put together in 2002 to become prime minister and head of the country's largest political party, the mess has the potential to become a major liability for the government and Umno.

Given the power of  UMNO, it is unlikely the scandal would ever get a complete airing in a Malaysian court, which is presumably why Suaram reached out to French prosecutors.

 "The filings are very recent and have so far prompted a preliminary police inquiry on the financial aspects of the deal," said Philippe Vasset, the editor in chief of a Paris-based military intelligence website.

"There isn't a formal investigation yet. The investigation will most likely use documents seized at DCN in the course of another investigation, focusing on bribes paid by DCN in Pakistan."

Vasset said police have confined their inquiry to bribery allegations so far and have not looked into the 2006 murder of a Mongolian woman in Malaysia who was a translator on the deal for Najib and his friend, Abdul Razak Baginda, during a visit to Paris. There have been numerous deaths involving DCN defense sales in Taiwan and Pakistan. Prosecutors are suspicious that 11 French submarine engineers who were murdered in a 2002 bomb blast in Karachi – first thought to have been the work of Al-Qaeda – were actually killed in retaliation for the fact that the French had reneged on millions of dollars in kickbacks to Pakistani military officers payment of RM534.8 million to a Malaysia-based company called Perimekar, for support services surrounding the sale of the submarines.

Perimekar was wholly owned by another company, KS Ombak Laut Sdn Bhd, which in turn was controlled by Najib's best friend, Razak Baginda, whose wife Mazalinda, a lawyer and former magistrate, was the principal shareholder, according to the French lawyers.

"Over the past years, serious cases have been investigated in France by judges involving DCN," lawyer Renaud Semerdjian told Asia Sentinel in a telephone interview.

"This is not the first case of this kind that is being investigated. There are others in Pakistan and there are some issues about India. To a certain extent, every time weapons of any kind have been provided, suspicion of violation of the law may be very high."

Massive military build-up

 As defence minister from 2000 to 2008, Najib commissioned a huge military build-up to upgrade Malaysia's armed forces, including two submarines from Armaris and the lease of a third, a retired French Navy Agosta-class boat. There were also Sukhoi supersonic fighter jets from Russia and millions of dollars spent on coastal patrol boats. All have come under suspicion by opposition leaders in Malaysia's parliament but UMNO has stifled any investigation.

Asked personally about the cases, Najib has responded angrily and refused to reply. Despite efforts to bury it, the case achieved considerably notoriety after the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu, a 28-year-old Mongolian translator and Razak Baginda's jilted lover, who participated in negotiations over the purchase of the submarines. By her own admission in a letter found after her death, she was attempting to blackmail Razak Baginda for US$500,000. She was shot in October 2006 and her body was blown up with military explosives by two bodyguards attached to Najib's office after Razak Baginda, went to Najib's chief of staff, Musa Safri, for help in keeping her away from him. Not long after being acquitted in November 2008 under questionable circumstances of participating in her murder, Razak Baginda left the country for England. The bodyguards were convicted but no motive was ever established for their actions. The submarine deal was never brought up in court during a months-long murder trial that was marked by prosecutors, defence attorneys and the judge working studiously to keep Najib's name out of the proceedings.

A private detective hired by Razak Baginda to protect him from the furious Altantuya filed a statutory declaration after the trial indicating that Najib had actually been the victim's lover and had passed her on to Razak Baginda. The detective, P Balasubramaniam, said later that he was unceremoniously run out of Kuala Lumpur. He eventually emerged from hiding in India to say he had been offered RM5 million by a businessman close to Najib's wife to shut up and get out of town. He also said he had met Nazim Razak, Najib's younger brother, and was told to recant his testimony.

Spotlight on Perimekar In the current complaint in Paris, the issue revolves around what, if anything, Razak Baginda's Perimekar company did to deserve RM534.8 million. Zainal Abidin, the deputy defence minister at the time of the sale, told parliament that Perimekar had received the amount – 11 percent of the sale price of the submarines –for "coordination and support services". The Paris filing alleges that there were neither support nor services.

Perimekar was registered in 2001, a few months before the signing of the contracts for the sale, the Paris complaint states. The company, it said flatly, "did not have the financial resources to complete the contract." A review of the accounts in 2001 and 2002, the complaint said, "makes it an obvious fact that this corporation had absolutely no capacity, or legal means or financial ability and/or expertise to support such a contract." "None of the directors and shareholders of Perimekar have the slightest experience in the construction, maintenance or submarine logistics," the complaint adds. "Under the terms of the contract, RM534.8 million were related to the different stages of construction of the submarines." The apparent consideration, supposedly on the part of Perimekar, "would be per diem and Malaysian crews and accommodation costs during their training. There is therefore no link between billing steps and stages of completion of the consideration."

As Asia Sentinel reported on April 1, services for the subs are being performed by a well-connected firm called Boustead DCNS, a joint venture between BHIC Defence Technologies Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of publicly-listed Boustead Heavy Industries Corp Bhd, and DCNS SA, a subsidiary of DCN. Boustead's Heavy Industries Division now includes Perimekar as an "associate of the Group.

PSB is involved in the marketing, upgrading, maintenance and related services for the Malaysian maritime defence industry," according to Boustead's annual report. Originally Boustead told the Malaysian Stock Exchange that the service contract was for RM600 million for six years, or RM100 million annually. However, the contract later ballooned to RM270 million per year. Boustead Holdings is partly owned by the government and has close connections with Umno.

"There are good grounds to believe that [Perimekar] was created with a single objective: arrange payment of the commission and allocate the amount between different beneficiaries including Malaysian public officials and or Malaysian or foreign intermediaries," the complaint states.

Permatang Pasir By-Election Will Be Another Sign That PM Najib Month in Office is Numbered -RAHMAN Prophecy

A popular Malaysian prophecy holds that the ruling United Malays National Organisation(UMNO) will meet its downfall after the country's sixth prime minister. It is known as the Rahman prophecy, after Abdul Rahman, the first prime minister, whose second name is said to spell out the first initial of his five successors. To the superstitious, it has proved uncannily accurate in predicting the nation's leaders since independence from Britain in 1957. That may be a cause of concern to Najib Razak, who was sworn in as Malaysia's sixth prime minister about 4 months ago.The unpopularity of the man and his party have led many analysts to predict that his government could be defeated in the next elections, due by 2013. Even before taking office, PM Najib has had unusually low approval ratings, with only 41 per cent of Malaysians saying he would make a good prime minister, against 47 per cent for Abdullah Badawi, his ineffectual predecessor, according to Merdeka Centre, an independent pollster.Some of that antipathy can be attributed to vicious rumours circulating about Mr Najib. Some critics link his name to the murder of a Mongolian model and mistress of one of his closest advisers, who has since been cleared of any involvement in the killing. Weapons contracts awarded during his tenure as defence minister have been questioned for alleged corruption. The allegations have dominated campaigning for a by-election seen as a referendum on his administration."There are so many accusations and allegations. God willing, I can manage it. They are not true; they are malicious, slanderous, baseless lies," said PM Najib after immediately after he was elected as the President of UMNO.Malaysia's ethnic Chinese, Indian minorities, Orang Asli (aborigines of Peninsular) and the natives of Sabah and Sarawak, have more substantial doubts about PM Najib. He has been a staunch defender of giving preferential treatment to the ethnic Malay majority in government and business, a policy introduced by his father when he was prime minister in the early 1970s.The discontent among minorities has led them to back a resurgent opposition, led by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim or DSAI as he is well known by his supporters.It fears that Mr Najib will preside over a return to "Mahathirism", the tough and confrontational style conducted by his mentor, Tun Mahathir Mohamad, the long-serving prime minister in the 1980s and 1990s.PM Najib has sought to assume the mantle of reform by promising to clean up Umno, which is seen as corrupt and out of touch with the public. He is also trying to reassure the country's minorities that he will change the pro-Malay policy to benefit other races. That reflects the influence of his brother, Nazir Razak, the head of state-owned CIMB, Malaysia's second largest bank, who said the proMalay policy discouraged foreign investment and created resentment among minorities."Nazir is a well-respected figure and is likely to play a pivotal role in advising on economic policy," says one of the well known , equity research head at one of the biggest bank in Malaysia.Ultimately, however, it could be Malaysia's worst postwar recession that topples PM Najib, says the opposition. "The economy is Najib's Achilles heel. Young Malays are drifting away from racial politics. The economic crisis will reveal that the income gap between rich and poor among all races is the real issue - and that will undermine Najib," said an adviser to Mr Anwar.

One of the issue that can undermine the current peaceful situation in Malaysia is a racial tension. To mitigate the racial issue, PM Najib has intriduced the 1Malaysia concept. But with the pressure from the Malay and Muslim, many predicted that Najib 1Malaysia is just a slogan and is going towards DOOM.

Najib Months in Office is numbered....The Prophecy

Since March 2008 General Election, Barisan Nasional so far has not winning any by-election [to exclude Batang Ai because of Iban Chawat (loin cloth) mentality]. The on-going by-election in Permatang Pasir which will be held on 25th August 2009, a straight fight between UMNO and PAS, many predicted that UMNO will lose with bigger margin. And if the prediction is correct....the Rahman prophecy is about to happen and Najib months in office is numbered.... Mupok aku
